Re: Bloodstock 2011 \m/ Great time. Band of festival was Rhapsody of Fire. Grave Digger, Hammerfall and tarot were superb too. Biggest surprise was Devin Townsend. I always thought he was overrated but I was surprised at how good his songs are and how well he performs them. One thing that pisses me off with this festival is the amount of very young children and babies there. Anyone else feel the same?

I have a feeling she's only in the band because she's hot and has a good body, it's such a shame that bands do this. Apparently they suck live. Time for some more Gothic Metal with female vocals. In my opinion you can't be a great guitar player without technique and knowledge of scales, look at guys like Steva Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen and even Dave Mustaine they all have great technique and really know their scales and how to work them into the music and that is what makes them great guitar players[/quote'] To be a great player isn't all about technique, for me it's about entertainment too. You cant deny that Angus puts so much into his performance on stage. Dont get me wrong, Vai, Malmsteen, and Mustaine are GREAT players, but on the entertainment side of things they're pretty boring compared to Angus on stage. I would rather watch Angus running around headbanging on stage like a fuckin loony playing only 5 chords badly, than say Malmsteen standing on the spot playing perfectly.
