Speaking of Petrucci... well, that's not a comic, that's just what he can actually do lol! I love speed picking so much instead of legato, as for exemple Steve vai's style or Satch's, but i do actually like legato some times, when it does really fit the song... for exemple: In the name of god, Dream Theater (obviously!), the unison with the keyboard is all in legato, and makes that part of the song so amazingly oriental! And it's so hard to play! (even thou i don't have any problem playing it since, paradoxically, i'm faster in legato then in speed picking!) However it's so nice to have people to discuss with about music, especially my favourite part of music! I'm alredy enjoying this forum

Yeah, i know, i typed it wrong since the correct one is \m/ , but i prefer my version /m\ ! However... hello everybody! I'm Fasi from Italy and i listen to many genres, from classic to prog. metal, my absolutely favorite one! I often listen to Dream Theater and learn their song on guitar, the hardest ones obviously, and shredding metal, as Paul Gilbert ecc. I do like a lot Andy James too, but, don't hate me for this, John Petrucci is my God, and will be 'til the end of times. Hope to enjoy this forum with all of you! C ya!
