Tibalt is a melodic-deathmetal band from Oskarshamn Sweden.
The Earth is sick. The Worldspine has been broken and all the minds of its inhabitants with it. After centuries of having humankind greedily devour her resources, the soul of the Earth awakens from its long slumber in order to correct her infestors' parasitic behavior.
We, Tibalt, materialize as mortal forms in the role of messengers of the Worldspine. Through our debut album "Armageddon" (3rd of November), we spread the foretelling of the awakening, warnings, rallying and finally vengeance of our Mother.
Musically, Tibalt has been described as Death Jazz. This is possibly due to our lack of hesitation to include elements previously not associated with the core genre that, in our case, is some sort of melodic Death Metal.
