  1. 230 albums is a LOT to go through. If you're still up for it, focus on 80's / 90's first. Wish I could help!
  2. Well, its a start :P. (removed some text in reply because I hadnt read the reply very well). Bummer you lost it but I'll see if I can find something about More Hate Productions. It doesn't ring a bell though.
  3. Correct! As per the definition of A capella It was just vocals though, long hauls of brutal death metal grunts :D. What struck me at the time and why it stuck was its originality and the fact he (assumption) was actually singing, melodic lines, not just screaming on the top of his lungs. Maybe kind of like the older Opeth I suppose but without the instruments? But hey, it was 40 years ago so memory versus sentiment and all that ...
  4. Short version: is there a list or can we compile one of acapella (black/death) metal songs with a grunt? Not just metal bands making ballads or singing acapella, but specifically with a grunt. Long version / reason: During the 80's maybe early 90s I had this album (or EP) and for the life of me I can't find it anymore or remember who it was. For years I've been searching on and off for it and while Im confident about some of the details, they have not served me well to find it. Its been 40-odd years so I am probably not remembering it very clearly or I would have found it before. While I am specifically looking for this song / EP, I thought it be cool to compile a playlist and who knows I find the song I'm looking for. So you should probably take all these with a grain of salt, I could be wrong about some of these from most confident to less confident: 80s or 90s it was acapella, death metal grunt with long, melodic lines All black album cover with white band name / logo (quite similar to some Bathory, Venom and Danzig albums) I always thought it was a European band I thought the song was about a farmer, or an ode to a farmer Looking forward to your suggestions! Thanks!
