Hi. I used to listen to a lot more alt/nu metal (still do sometimes), but now I usually listen to either extreme/semi-extreme metal, dark ambient music, or other random stuff. My favorite band is Sybreed, but I also like Meshuggah and Bloodbath, with some Leviathan and Xasthur on the side. I used to listen to stuff like Disturbed and Blue Stahli more often, though I still like them. My favorite albums are 'Ion Legacy' by Tyrant of Death, 'The Great Cold Distance' by Katatonia, 'The Pulse of Awakening' by Sybreed, and 'Possessor' by Gost. I originally got into metal roughly at the end of my freshman year of college, where I majored in Comp. Sci. and minored in Math (so I am also a programmer). I have been able to deathgrowl since about the beginning of this year, so, even though I am nervous of it, I am also interested in contributing to individual songs and such if you are interested (note: I can't do false nor fry stuff).

Hello, I am a new user here and have been into semi-extreme metal for ~2 years now, and have been able to deathgrowl/screamgrowl (not fry nor false) since about the beginning of this year.
