Thanks! I love sharing music! Seems you and I have lots of similar ones we like. Also if you have any you think I would like please share even if i happen to hear of them its nice to know other like them as well. XD

You probably like Trollfest, Finntroll, Falconer, Thyrfing, Korpilklaani, Equilibrium. Have you checked out The Meads of Asphodel? Down the symphonic route, I like Bal Sagoth and Carach Angren. I'm also getting into Skyforger at the moment as well.

Ah my favirotes is along list, but I will give a small break down as much as I can in no particular order.
Finntroll, Einsfierum, Burzum, Isengard, Satyricon, Vintersorg, LIK, Armagedda, Darkthrone, Einherjar, Arcturus, Sirenia, Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, Lumsk, Moonsorrow, Myrkgrav, Rammstein, Rakoth, Svartby, Windir, Månegarm, Turmion Kätilöit, Tyr, Type O Negative, Ajattara, Storm, and well many more

Hey great choices! There's a couple in there that I'll have to check out as they are mostly bands I'm into as well! Welcome also!

Yes trollfest. Great band although my knowledge of them is limited to helluva album which is very funny. Video for street Sarah is hilarious with a surprising father Ted TV show reference.  Have you got there latest album.

Yes their latest is probably one of their best. It's a bit more restrained but still good.

I like the vocals. They're recognizably Aaron but they're a bit different for him, in mostly an interesting way. I dig all the layered harmonies. The songwriting on the album has yet to really grab me though, it's weird to read comments from people saying it's "their best".

Agreed. The album is better than Feel the Misery, and unmistakenly MDB but there's just that something that doesn't sit quite right and I can't put my finger on it.

I'll return to Carach Angren's Laugh and Dance Amongst the Rotten to ponder......

  5. Top for me is Megadeth. They're the most technical of the 4, and the first metal band I got into.

Slayer is second. Seasons in the Abyss was a staple for me when I was younger.

Metallica third. Early albums were good but after the Black album they just got boring.

Anthrax fourth. I have listened to a couple of albums and they really don't have the same impact as the other three bands.
