  1. Haha well I appreciate your desire to support! If you do decide you ever want to listen, here is a link... Https://www.breakinballzradio.com
  2. Does that mean you're interested in djing? Lol
  3. So I own/run an internet radio station that plays metal. I try to keep it somewhat accessible, playing everything from hair metal to classic metal, thrash, newer metal and even some 90s/2000s stuff. I tend not to head in the direction of very heavy stuff unless it's a specialty show. With that said, I would love to know if anyone here has ever DJ'd? We're always looking for on-air talent. Most of the time we're running stuff that's automated, and I'd really like to start to have a bunch of actual "shows" to promote. If anyone is interested, please get in touch!
  4. Right, I gotcha. I was into some death and grindcore when it first became a thing. I think I was into it more because at that time I just wanted the most extreme stuff possible - I hadn't heard anything like that before, and as a thrash guy, the crazier the better. Like early Obituary, Carcass, Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, etc. I've been into metal since '84 so I guess that's 34 years. Scary. Taste went from softer to harder and now back to somewhat softer again.
  5. Thank you! I've been on a (don't hate me) Avenged Sevenfold and Stone Sour kick. Big time. I've also reconnected with my thrash roots and have been getting into some of the bands I didn't pay as much attention to back then - Kreator in particular. How about you? lol I am of the age where I was a bit too young for the early super-classic stuff. My favorite is Defenders of the Faith, and most of the records from that era. I was, like most, devastated by Turbo. Ugh.
  6. Hey everyone! I run an internet radio station that plays exclusively metal and some independent bands, and am always looking to chat with and get ideas from other metalheads! The name of the station is Breakin' Ballz Radio in case my handle didn't give it away! I'm in my late 40s, grew up in the 80s metal scene and have maintained my love of metal all the way through. Like many, I gave up on metal a little bit in the mid-2000s, but that was a big mistake and I've spent the last few years catching up on what I missed. Always happy to chat - drop me a line anytime! Rob
