Mephistopheles

Hello, so I'm 19yo, I've been playing guitar for about 7 years and I'm looking for a band, or for someone to form one with. I play mostly DM and in drop tuning, but I'm really open to changes. However, I only play 6-string, and before you ask, no, I can't sweep pick! The main metal bands that I listen to are Entombed, Grave, Carcass and the sort. Lately though, I've been getting into more melodic stuff, the likes of early Opeth/Katatonia/October Tide. I've come to particularly like writing two-voiced riffs (or however they may be called). I don't mind traveling back and forth for rehearsals. Check out my other post on this forum for an idea of what I used to play.

Thank you very much for the insight, you covered a lot of the problems I had to face while writing and recording. No, I didn't pan the bass, but one of the kick drums is slightly louder than the other, and they are panned. P.S.: It's another guy that's doing the vocals, and the drums are programmed. About the second lead: it's meant to be played as a piece but it was a last-minute addition and I was pressed by time. You have a really good ear.
