Thanks guys! I've been a little MIA lately... whoops sorry to hear of your friend who passed, BlutAusNerd. I live in a small town with absolutely no music scene... a couple of weeks ago I travelled for a gig and discovered some really awesome bands. I don't think I've ever moshed so hard

A lot of my friends have disappeared across the ditch to Australia... seems to be a common occurence. Mates or states?? Maybe we should reconsider the century long proposal... Aussie funnels a lot of stuff this way that we might not otherwise see. Like, bands and stuff

I am both sad and excited to be (possibly) the only NZ representative! Metal is so underground here... in saying that though we do produce some epic music every now and then! Thanks for the welcome

Greetings fellow metalheads! I am from little old New Zealand and we don't have much of a metal scene here... have been exploring ways to better acquaint myself with the metal world and this site is what I stumbled upon My love for metal / hard rock ranges from Avenged Sevenfold (no hate pls), Trivium, Demon Hunter through to Job for a Cowboy and Suicide Silence (also no hate pls lol) and all that stuff in between. I am more of a lurker rather than someone who comments all the time but will for sure step up for something I really enjoy. Cheers for having me join your community!!
