I saw it, I hid the chat promptly just because I knew it wasn't even worth half the comments, which is sad considering I did see a few really nice heartfelt comments before I hid it, but the service was lovely, really emotional but in a good way, and I must admit I was almost brought to tears too, he was the frontman of my favourite band, and he was just awesome, RIP LEMMY \m/
yeah I hid it for most of it too. it was full of fucking idiots who didn't care what they were saying; loads of weird comments about jews and racisms and shit and loads of people saying 'who's this dickhead' when speakers came up and other fuckery. It was a great memorial and a true testament to a genuinely brilliant man.

who watched the service for Lemmy? I'd like to say I was moved greatly by what people had to say about such an amazing man and I'll admit I was almost brought to tears a few times. But, did anyone see some of the shit trolls were saying in that fucking chat window? So much disrespect to Lemmy and to the speakers at the memorial service.

I don't know about that but it's a difference of opinion isn't it

Maybe all Slayer need is some backing from their fans to bring them back on track; you have to remember that they' would have changed because of the change of members and the 'bringing back' of the band. I see no major problem with the album personally, I think it's still good music and there's enough people that like it. South Of Heaven was definitely their peak but I think they still have fight left in them; look at Lemmy living on.

I went to see Slayer tour it live last month as my first proper gig and they played amazingly, the energy was incredible but I do agree with you; it's definitely not their best work. However, I don't believe they should be discredited for that; look at ACDC's new album (I know it's not metal), even Iron Maiden's new album is a bit rehashed and slightly tired.
