  1. Definitely one of my favorites. Power and The Glory and Crusader being two I frequently listen too. I'd love to get my hands on a vinyl of Forever Free, but the alternate version they release with the Space Marine Bikers on the cover. That would looks so cool on the wall.

  2. I don't think I'd ever call Rush "metal", but they definitely influenced a wide variety of genre's (including metal). You can hear that inspiration in a lot of their early works (Working Man, The Necromancer, 2112). Rush are probably my favorite non metal band. Their sound is so varied through out the years, yet unique and singular. If I want a smooth melody, I can count on Rush, If I want something heavy (but not metal heavy), I can count on Rush, If I want a story to be told, I can count on Rush.

  3. I love the Sword, Apocryphon and Age of Winters are my favorite albums. I actually found them through Youtube as well, Gorbo! And what sucked me in were their really old songs about wizards and dragonslayers and axes and other nerdy stuff. That is really my thing... any kind of metal that is nerdy is appealing. FULLY agree with you here, Gorb.
You can't see it, but I'm high fiving you across the internet.
  4. Hail brothers and sisters! My name is Kassill, I'm 22, and a fan of a wide, wide range of metal from classic to doom and power metal and much much more! I especially like when songs and albums tell a complete and intricate story or idea. One of my favorite bands to date is The Sword. They blend classic metal with a modern and unique sound, and their lyrics are always tasty. In fact, there tasty riffs and overall sound is the reason I got a guitar a while back (although I never have any time to practice). Other than that, I'm a college student, hobbies other than music are wargaming (both video and table top), sci fi/fantasy books and movies, board/card games, and much more.
