In Belgium we have good black metal like Enthroned, Slaughter Messiah, Heidrun, Waelcyrge... all good bands

Well, i can agree with Woutjinho about the underground festivals. I tend to think those are more fun than the bigger ones. It has a more comfy, less crowded atmosphere. But most bands aren't that well known, but great discoveries can be made at such festivals ofc. You can check up on facebook or forums for those little gigs or fests, and grab some friends and see if you want to go. Those festivals are often not that expensive either.

My last buy was Amenra - Mass III. Amenra is a Belgian sludge band, certainly check them out if you like a dark, moody, intense atmosphere

Hello Metalforum! I'm Svarogus (Cdric), from Belgium. Rolled onto this site after a friend called this place cosy and interesting, and i must agree:p I have a pretty broad taste in Metal: ranging from traditional heavy metal and NWOBHM to black/death and stoner doom. Especially old school death and black can make me happy every moment of the day. Some favorite bands: Sarcofago, Deathhammer, Negura Bunget, Nifelheim, Tribulation, Venenum, Midnight, Blasphemy, Gospel of the Horns, Bathory, Motorhead, etc etc Feel free to ask any further questions:)
