Enter the Riffian, Wo Fat

I've been listening to a lot of Black Pyramid, Kadavar, Cormorant, the Atlas Moth, and Kalas.won't exactly say they are my top 5, though.
-
It kind of sails a leaky submarine through oceans of cliche' date=' but when it's good it can be great. How far are you through the anime? Or are you reading the manga?[/quote'] I've just started season 2, and I plan on reading the manga sometime, after i finish the manga I am currently reading.

Have you heard Purson? They are like psychedelic rock / prog rock but you may still like them.

I've become addicted to Fairy Tail myself, and I never thought I would remotely like it.
-
Love them! Only recently discovered them, but already I have a couple of favorites already. I love their lyrics. This band, despite some of the ozzyness, really stands out on their own. I've been listening to a lot of the stoner rock / metal lately, trying to find new bands and expand my collection.

I like this band a lot too. I'm currently hooked on their song Doomsday Machine, and plan on buying that album "Abra Kadavar."

SexyBack by Justin Timberlake. also, an official cover of Bad Romance (Lady GaGa) by A Smile from the Trenches..

Crawling has always been my favorite, too. I also like Papercut, and By Myself. Linkin Park is one of the first rock bands i started listening too. I was forcefully sheltered, and didn't have a way to find modern music. I even got in some deep crap when they found out i was listening to them.

I like space rock, psychedelic rock, noise rock, chiptune, some post-hardcore/metalcore, and oldies rock

POD had that one good song' date=' Youth of the Nation. I tried listening to their albums but they were all quite boring.[/quote'] saw them live last summer at Lunatic Luau, and they sounded horrible.

Just got an Industrial piercing, and am really happy. I've been wanting this baby for a couple of years.

At one point, in the first chapter if i remember right, he mentions a crusty dildo he and a friend (as kids) found in a box while sneaking into a room his grandfather used to stay in. I haven't read all of the book, but I remember gagging at that.oh, and there are detailed mentions of acid/sex with some girlfriend.I'll have to finish reading it someday. What do you mean by 'disgusting'? -
I chose MP3s because they are very versatile. I do prefer to buy full length albums as physical CDs, but always rip them to use on my iPod. I also collect vinyl, from thrift stores and such, but don't buy them new from current bands.

I used to be a fan of Marilyn Manson, for his shock value. Never considered him metal. Definitely more Industrial. I bought his autobiography Long Hard Road Out of Hell, and while i haven't finished reading it, it's a shocker itself. Shocking, and some parts are disgusting, but nothing surprising.

Had started listening to them, and I love their sound, but some of their lyrics, I don't know what to think. I don't even know what's around here. I live in a big enough city, you would think there would be somewhere that local bands could play, but I haven't found anything. Would totally go if there were some doom bands playing, I need something to do with my spare time.

I am not a fan of death but would still totally support your band ^^If I had. A band. You guys listein to it -
I'll make a huge playlist on Spotify and listen to it on my way to and from work, which is 20 minutes away. In the summer, I like to run, so I listen while running. If i am home alone, it's usually playing while i'm using the computer.

Oh' date=' and if you dig Atreyu, you really owe it to yourself to check out 36 Crazyfists. They basically do what Atreyu but way better. Heavier, much stronger vocals, better hooks, just generally superior songs. Their quality never really went downhill either. Fantastic band- one of my favourites! [/quote'] I have listened to 36 Crazyfists, but don't know a whole lot by them. Slit Wrist Theory is great. I've only heard that, and We Gave It Hell. I haven't listened to Atreyu in a while, but they are one of the only bands of the genre that I listen to. And I just want to clear something up.. I do know the difference between post-hardcore and metalcore ~just saying, I just don't want to be put out to look like a noob I did actually label Norma Jean, Suicide Silence, and Atreyu as Metalcore and not as Post-Hardcore. I do know quite a bit of post-hardcore and metalcore bands, but only listed what i listen to regularly. I used to be really into it. I also know what post-hardcore started out as, and I have listened to Fugazi and At the Drive-In, you can really tell that their origins are from Punk. They don't sound anything at all like the 'post-hardcore' that is out now, but that doesn't mean they are good, either. Just my opinion, you are allowed to disagree.
