  1. Okay, it took a little longer than we expected, but here it is. After months of hard work we are proud to reveal the first single of our upcoming debut album titled Queen of The Midnight Fire. "Prepare for the Voyage beyond mortal knowledge!"

In other news...Dying Victims productions are taking preorders for the vinyl release of our EP Steeds of time. The special edition includes: Orange Vinyl, a patch, a sticker and a poster. The vinyl can be preordered via the link bellow. vigilance-steeds-of-time-regular-vinyl-sticker-poster.jpgVigilance - Steeds of Time regular LP, sticker, poster - Dying Victims Productions
  2. The Slovenian occult act Vigilance is proud to reveal the artwork of their upcoming album entitled “Queen of the Midnight Fire”. “Queen of the Midnight Fire” is scheduled to be released in 2013 (exact date T.B.A.). Ripping with its excellent mixture of genuine traditional Speed / Heavy Metal filled with profound devotion for primordial occultism, Vigilance itself reflects perfectly a lethal dose of true metal, real old school attitude fueled with dark emotions and spell bound intensity. Prepare for a voyage beyond mortal knowledge. vigilance_queen_of_the_midnight_fire.png The artwork was entirely made by by Mario E. Lopez M The following song titles are expected to appear on “Queen of the Midnight Fire”: 1. Queen of the Midnight Fire 2. Behind the Cellar Door 3. SpeedWave 4. What Lies Beyond… 5. Night Terrors 6. Four Crowns of Hell 7. Poetry and the Gods 8. Under Sulphurous Skies 9. Ritual of Death While we are still a couple of days far from the release of our single, you can now download our first demo (with Gilian on vocals) on our bandcamp page.

  3. Re: Metal camp Hay, dudes and dudettes. As a shameless self promotional whore I come here to share the word of this festival. First things first. The warmup show. Well, nothing special there. Just the local bands, no big names. But some pretty darn good music nevertheless. Of course I came to write here to promote my band, but you should really lend an ear to the other guys as well! There will be free entry and the booze prices will most probably be pretty fair. img.jpgVigilance - Heavy/speed metal QGqoWgW6-5Q Well, if you like the Di'Anno years of Iron Maiden and speed metal, look no further. At this show, we'll also present our

which sounds a bit darker, more in the veins of Mercyful Fate and King Diamond. (we've also got a thread here on this forum, so if anybody might want to take a looksee) Bleeding Fist - Black metal Jr5rlGMn4Tk Bestial old fucking school black metal! Nothing more to say. Hellsword -Speed Black Metal VpZLgwhtyss If you were to put together Hellhammer, Venom and some early Bathory you would have come out with Hellsword. Old school blackened speed metal all the way! Panikk - Thrash Metal r8KyqPRTpRM Old school thrash metal strongly influenced by Vio-lence, Evil Dead, Forced Entry,... (sorry, no studio recordings yet, I'll add some, when they come up) Teleport - Thrash metal hFVAuzQMuRY Only one band comes to mind while listening to the Galactic Usurper. Voivod! So anybody craving for some out of this world fast paced riffs and ear penetrating vocals, you should look no further. Vinotoch - Folk metal (sorry, no real info on those guys yet) Now, about the festival. Well, there's a pretty nice lineup this year, but the real selling point in here is the surroundings. This little documentary might present the real picture here. 2WqI_dk5slc But overall, you've got nice cuisine up in the town with reasonable prices. The camping ground is simply gorgeous if you're lucky enough to find a camping place in the woods. The merchandise there is pretty basic. Really, nothing special there. Showers are free and the portable toilets are emptied frequently enough. The beer price at the stage site is a bit pricy, but you can bring beer to the camp and get wasted there, so with a little effort you can get through pretty cheap. In the local bars, the prices are like that: beer - 2-2.5eu coffe - 1-1.5eu wine - 1eu/dl sodas - 1.5eu/bottle cigarettes - 3-3.5eu a pack The store prices are a bit better, you should get around with about 5eu a sixpack and about 3eu for a bottle of non-toxic wine. And yeah, if there might still be some questions, I'll be happy to answer.
  4. Re: Vigilance - NWOBHM/Speed Metal Okay, I guess it's time for an update. The material for our debut album is mostly finished, mostly. And the recording sessions start in august. With some luck, you'll be able to hear a song or two in September. Our last confirmed date is on the Third of August at the Metal Camp warmup show. So if anyone here is attending, this is the rest of the lineup. img.jpg Jr5rlGMn4Tk Bleeding Fist - Old school black metal VpZLgwhtyss Hellsword -Speed Black Metal r8KyqPRTpRM Panikk - Thrash Metal hFVAuzQMuRY Teleport - Thrash metal (Heavily influenced by Voivod) Vinotoch - Folk metal
