  1. Re: New Guitar Help

i would avoid B.C. Rich out of those i would pick Schecter Hellraiser
It was already on the bottom of my list, but just out of curiosity why would you avoid B.C. Rich? It's good enough for Kerry King.
  2. Re: New Guitar Help

Avoid Gibson like the plague. Both of mine have caused me nothing but trouble because Gibson doesn't give a crap about how their guitars leave the factory. They know people will buy them regardless. What ESPs are you looking at? Out of what you listed, ESP is what I will heartily recommend.
I'm looking at LTD Deluxe H-1001QM, LTD MS-1, LTD MP-600, LTD Deluxe EC-1000 FR, LTD Deluxe MH-1000, and LTD ALEXI-600
  3. Hey I'm currently trying make a decision on a new guitar. I have a budget of up to 2000 USD. the guitars I am currently looking at are Gibson Flying V, Jackson Demmelition King V, Jackson RR24, Jackson RR5, Dean VMNT, Dean Razorback Slimebolt, B.C. Rich Mockingbird, Schecter Hellraiser, and a bunch of ESP guitars. I'm looking for a good guitar regardless of price and brand. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

  4. Re: Mayhem I went in Denver and got to see Disturbed, Megadeth, Godsmack, Trivium, In Flames, and Machine Head plus a couple of side stage bands, but the best part was being in a circle pit that went all the way between both side stages. It was like during part of the run "Kingdom of Sorrow... FUCK YEAH!!!" then it was "Suicide Silence... FUCK YEAH, the only problem was that it was only like a 15 person circle pit. Fun, but even more fun to see the people staring at us as we came around

  5. Re: metallica? Anything that is a change in musical style constitutes the band being a sell out according to a lot of people. Metallica didn't sell out they just matured in their style. It is my belief that a band can do what ever they want with their sound. They created it, therefore they can change it.
