Genocide Pact are essentially death metal. Well worth a listen if you like a bit of groove in amongst your blast beats! Ah it's always a good time to listen to Rush. They were one of the first rock bands I ever heard thanks to my dads vinyl collection. Them and Bolt Thrower lol

Didn't they do a split ep recently? I remember it being quite good but can't for the life of me remember who the other band was ??‍♂️

Is it just me but has this year kicked off with a bang? We are only into February but already we have some early contenders for albums of the year with the likes of Autopsy "Puncturing the Grotesque" Genocide Pact "Order of Torment" Ataraxy "Where All Hope Fades" and Hooded Menace  "Ossuarium ..". Are there any other early recommendations? 

I used to have fb and Instagram but decided to step away from them as I found it all to be rather fake and overwhelming also. Currently I'm enjoying the latest releases from Necrot, Genocide Pact, Hooded Menace, Bell Witch and Ataraxy. In all honesty I like that keep my fingers in most of the musical pies but my favourite is death/doom ?

This is the very first forum I have ever joined. I'm not exactly computer literate so please bear with me if I'm a little slow ? I don't really do social media so thought I'd dip my big hairy toes into the world of forums ??‍♂️ Anyone else in a similar position? 

Fairly certain we don't have a thread for this yet. So what are some of your favourite debut albums. We're talking strictly debut full-lengths for that band not the debut of a particular musician. Any and all genres and time periods count here but try to keep your list to a manageable length please?
