Just joined today.  I've never really been part of a forum before.  I'm 30 years old and I live in the US.  My musical tastes tend to vary a lot and aren't limited to metal but when it comes to metal I listen to a lot of black metal, funeral doom, some death metal, a lot of mixtures and a lot of things in between.  Heaviness isn't the only thing I look for in music as the atmosphere and message being presented are quite important.  But I'm always up for checking out new music.
