If slipknot didnt start turning a lame corner as of recently or LOG had more albums with variation, they would have been top picks. Will still get them in here

Oh well, need some crazy too!

Honourable mentions : Megadeth (Cant pick both metallica and megadeth as they're similar, so had to drop mustaine), Agalloch (Love this band but not too many albums to take), Skeletonwitch (Again great band but very similar albums and not too many), Killswitch Engage (If only they were as good as their first 3 albums) & Trivium (Biggest sell-out story for me after what were 4 golden albums)

Well yeah. His growls have started becoming bad in recent years and he's revealed in many interviews that he doesn't want to go back to growling coz its not good for him and he doesnt feel like it musically either. I'd still rate him at rank 1 just for his growling past and his current cleans. I don't even find pop or country or any other genre singers who sing better cleans than him!

I make my own music through FL Studio and do the lyrics, vocals and production of my songs myself. I'm quite open to styles but prefer metalcore, prog or death metal

I would love to collaborate with you! Maybe for a youtube song.. I can make most kinds of music related to metal. Quite flexible in the sense that I can come up with what the singer wants. So if you wanna do the lyrics and vocals I can provide the music

I've heard almost all of Nightwish and really thought Tarja leaving and Anette coming in was cool. I liked her in dark passion play and thought the album was cool. That is, until i heard Floor. She is the complete package! (looks, voice, tits...everything  ). I think she is a great frontman. I do find myself going back to old Tarja albums like Once more often these days. Maybe I miss the old style or how Tarja's vocals suited them. Those songs just have a classic epic feel to them. Anette-lead songs don't and I'll have to wait to find if the Floor albums do.

So for me it's a tie between Tarja and Floor, but something tells me I'll be listening to Tarja a lot more as we get older.

I dont know why no one is mentioning Mikael AKerveldt! So many years of Opeth and they've been consistently great while changing genres and musical styles over the years. I cant think of a guy who can both sing and growl the way he does! Not to mention his guitar-work is quite decent too.

Thanks for replying, man! Lot of your feedback is kinda consistent with what i have heard from others too! Can you explain the first point? The one about passages or intervals not going with unclean vocals. And any tips on how to get the clean vocals sounding better?
