FatherAlabaster
There's another band I just can't listen to anymore, except for their old grind stuff. I love Walker's vocals, but their songwriting really annoys me. Lately, I've been all about tech death like Pavor, Anata, and Necrophagist, older American DM like Brutality, Ripping Corpse, and Suffocation, and a little bit of old melodeath. Oh, and Funebrarum, duh. "Sleep Of Morbid Dreams" fucking rules for me right now.

FatherAlabaster
Yeah, sadly, I used to be a big fan of Necroticism and I did try to enjoy Surgical Steel, but Carcass just isn't for me.

MacabreEternal
I think part of the appeal of "Surgical Steel" for me was that it was definitively Carcass even though it was a more mature sounding Carcass. I loved Heartwork too though which gets a lot of stick for its more melodic style. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Especially Symphonies of Sickness, one of the best grind albums ever. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
RelentlessOblivion
Hell yes Symphonies Of Sickness is grind perfection. I really enjoy Necroticism as well but Heartwork and Surgical Steel don't do a whole lot for me.

RelentlessOblivion
On a completely unrelated topic a doomed up cover of Death's Pull The Plug would sound awesome...

RelentlessOblivion
Now that would be a truly surreal experience. I scanned the web for a video of that but to no avail. Being a bit of a Led Zepp fan I wouldn't mind hearing a doomified version of Whole Lotta Love either.

FatherAlabaster
Just pretty bland tryhard deathcore, from what I heard.

RelentlessOblivion
Sorry Deathstorm but I just don't rate Obscura. They just aren't very interesting in my opinion.
