Hi, I'm new to these forums, so sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I came across lyrics to a Stone Sour song called Spillin' My Guts. I have searched on Google for this song, to either download or stream, but cannot find it. Was this song released as an early demo? And is there anywhere I can get it?

So, I've been looking for a particular patch for ages(see attached file). Kvist does have some other patches, like one resembling the image from their album For Kunsten Maa Vi Evig Vike, but the one with the logo is the one I'm looking for.

Do you know where to find one of these patches, or do you perhaps sell one? I was thinking of making one by hand, but at the moment it is an emergency plan. Thank you.

(mods, feel free to move or delete this thread if it's the wrong category etc.)

First of all I'd like to apologize if this post goes against any rules of this site and/or sub-forum. Now to my issue:
A couple of days ago I bought this copy of Cannibal Corpse's "The Bleeding" from a yard sale for almost no money (less than 1$). The problem is that I can't find a match to the appearance of the disc anywhere online. If anyone could help me find out whether this is a bootleg or not i would really appreciate it. Here are pictures of the disc and the case.

I did my fair share of research, but I didn't find a similar one. Neither have I ever seen their logo like that. It very well could be a bootleg, but I think it's likely that it's an obscure foreign release of the album from when it first came out.

My disc didn't look like yours, but I've had to replace original CDs quite a few times over the years, and I sometimes see different disc surface printing, even if it's not a re-release or foreign edition. For what it's worth, I highly doubt anyone in the mid 90s would have bootlegged this widely available album on a pressed CD, especially the censored version.

This is a long shot but I have been going through bands every day for god knows how long and I need help trying to find a band (whose name I don't remember) for a song (which I can't remember the name of) and all I can tell you is that I'm sure it was a melodic death metal band, and the part of the song I remember was an epic outro, had chuggy guitars with heavily auto tuned vocals over the top. Only the outro had these vocals and it was quite a slow tempo.

The reason I have no idea who it is, is because it was on an old iPod that died about 2/3 years ago and I have so much music on it that I can't remember all of it, but I remember this one song and I can't find it anywhere. good luck and if you figure it out...well I haven't figured out how to repay you yet.

you're quite the comedian, I bet you live a life of fun filled action...

I believe the fact that I am asking for a melodic death metal song with highly auto tuned vocals isn't me just asking a simple question of 'I heard a song once, can someone tell me what is was'. If someone likes this band, they will know this song from how I described it, I'm just taking a punt on that.

Get back in your hole.

Not sure if this is the right place but hopefully someone can some help,  im looking for this one song , cant remember if it was power metal or death metal, im leaning more towards death or something similar. dont remember any band name , something obscure and indie i think (i could be wrong)

Might be like a intro song or interlude to a album , It starts out Slow and with a guy grisly reading like the necronomicon, (dead shall rise tear apart the living, they will fear and cower ect ect) but much more elaborate than what i can remember XD and it slowly builds up louder and louder and with more "parts" / instruments, while he keeps reading

i somewhat remember the name of the song , it was like something along the lines of these names although not exactly, i tried to google and youtube search but couldnt find dick

Quote

Necromancers Proclamation Manifestation
Proclamation of the Necromancer
Manifesto of The Necronomicon
Necronomicons Proclamation to the Living

something like that , or i could be wrong entirely ):  if you have any questions or ideas shoot it my way anything helps, Thanks ^

Ok. first of all greetings to every one here. Im from Grecia.I am looking for a song that i used to listen about a 15 years ago, when i was in school.I dont have a f*ck!ng clue the band or the lyrics of the song. I only remember how the song was starting. The song starts with a guitar rif that plays more than once (2 or three times) and then the singer comes. For sure i remember that isnt a Rock. Maybe is a hard rock or a heavy metal. The song was inside a compilation disc that had various artists inside and i dont remember the name of the cd or the magazine that had the cd. For years I thought that the bands song are the megadeth. But no. i search all the discography but arent. (Maybe i was missed but i dont thing so). Also i search Black Sabbaths discography but again i didnt find anything.

So i need a help please. If u want t help me, i recorded the melody (the intro of the song with the guitar rif) but with my voice. I dont play guitar unfortunately. I upload it to youtube:

    • Whichever tier of thrash metal you consigned Sacred Reich back in the 80's/90's they still had their moments.  "Ignorance" & "Surf Nicaragura" did a great job of establishing the band, whereas "The American Way" just got a little to comfortable and accessible (the title track grates nowadays) for my ears.  A couple more records better left forgotten about and then nothing for twenty three years.  2019 alone has now seen three releases from Phil Rind and co.  A live EP, a split EP with Iron Reagan and now a full length.

Notable addition to the ranks for the current throng of releases is former Machine Head sticksman, Dave McClean.  Love or hate Machine Head, McClean is a more than capable drummer and his presence here is felt from the off with the opening and title track kicking things off with some real gusto.  'Divide & Conquer' and 'Salvation' muddle along nicely, never quite reaching any quality that would make my balls tingle but comfortable enough.  The looming build to 'Manifest Reality' delivers a real punch when the song starts proper.  Frenzied riffs and drums with shots of lead work to hold the interest.

There's a problem already though (I know, I am such a fucking mood hoover).  I don't like Phil's vocals.  I never had if I am being honest.  The aggression to them seems a little forced even when they are at their best on tracks like 'Manifest Reality'.  When he tries to sing it just feels weak though ('Salvation') and tracks lose real punch.  Give him a riffy number such as 'Killing Machine' and he is fine with the Reich engine (probably a poor choice of phrase) up in sixth gear.  For every thrashy riff there's a fair share of rock edged, local bar act rhythm aplenty too.

Let's not poo-poo proceedings though, because overall I actually enjoy "Awakening".  It is stacked full of catchy riffs that are sticky on the old ears.  Whilst not as raw as perhaps the - brilliant - artwork suggests with its black and white, tattoo flash sheet style design it is enjoyable enough.  Yes, 'Death Valley' & 'Something to Believe' have no place here, saved only by Arnett and Radziwill's lead work but 'Revolution' is a fucking 80's thrash heyday throwback to the extent that if you turn the TV on during it you might catch a new episode of Cheers!

    • Full length number 19 from overkill certainly makes a splash in the energy stakes, I mean there's some modern thrash bands that are a good two decades younger than Overkill who can only hope to achieve the levels of spunk that New Jersey's finest produce here.  That in itself is an achievement, for a band of Overkill's stature and reputation to be able to still sound relevant four decades into their career is no mean feat.  Even in the albums weaker moments it never gets redundant and the energy levels remain high.  There's a real sense of a band in a state of some renewed vigour, helped in no small part by the addition of Jason Bittner on drums.  The former Flotsam & Jetsam skinsman is nothing short of superb throughout "The Wings of War" and seems to have squeezed a little extra out of the rest of his peers.

The album kicks of with a great build to opening track "Last Man Standing" and for the first 4 tracks of the album the Overkill crew stomp, bash and groove their way to a solid level of consistency.  The lead work is of particular note and Blitz sounds as sneery and scathing as ever.  The album is well produced and mixed too with all parts of the thrash machine audible as the five piece hammer away at your skull with the usual blend of chugging riffs and infectious anthems.

There are weak moments as mentioned but they are more a victim of how good the strong tracks are.  In it's own right "Distortion" is a solid enough - if not slightly varied a journey from the last offering - but it just doesn't stand up well against a "Bat Shit Crazy" or a "Head of a Pin".  As the album draws to a close you get the increasing impression that the last few tracks are rescued really by some great solos and stomping skin work which is a shame because trimming of a couple of tracks may have made this less obvious.
