Cheese n ham toastie and a strawberry smoothie for lunch. It's what I have every single day and have done for many years. My breakfast is a bowl of muesli and fruit with natural yoghurt, orange juice, pro-biotic yoghurt drink and a coffee. My dinner isn't the same everyday but varies depending on what day it is. I eat the same thing on the same day every week for dinner.

There's a lot I don't like to and will refuse to eat. I like to think I'm more open-minded when it comes to other things, like music. I drink a lot of water during the day though, maybe even too much. Just can't get enough. I only ever drink soft drinks if it's with dinner and even then it's one small can of coke. I cannot consume alcohol.

Well, I'm with you on the water, I feel better the more I drink. If I'm outside a lot I consume an astonishing amount of water. I don't drink soda much at all either - maybe once every three months or so, I'll have a ginger ale or something, but I like the really strong-flavored "small batch" drinks. I never drink mass produced soft drinks. Love beer, though... I've had some friends that are very picky about their food. Personally I like exploring, though I won't eat goat... It sounds like you at least eat healthfully, the pickiest guy I know basically only likes bologna, Wonder bread, and Pepsi.

Looking forward to breakfast which is what I have pretty much every day' date=' two hard boiled eggs[/quote'] I have two eggs every morning as well, farm fresh. I make a sort of runny omelet though, I don't have time to boil my eggs in the morning, and I like to have my boiled eggs still hot and more soft, not cooked very long. I couldn't restrict myself as much as your friend in regards to diet. It's more about control for me I guess because I spent a while changing up my diet until I found one that suited me and just kind of stuck to it. I like to go running and stuff I like to eat well but never excessively. Just the three meals a day with no snacking (which I never feel tempted to do). I also can't really stand junk food so that helps avoid any snacking. Just out of curiosity, why don't you want to eat goat? I've never tried it before. When I was younger I tried crocodile meat and kangaroo meat just out of curiosity but it didn't taste remarkable, just kinda weird and slightly nasty. I'm eating steak, egg and chips (fries for you Americans) right now. :)

I can't take the flavor of goat. My mom kept trying to give me goat milk and goat cheese when I was younger, but it has a tang to it that always disgusted me. I've tried the meat several times and I'm always unable to choke it down because of the same gamy flavor. I love beef, lamb, venison, most seafood, most birds, eggs, and cow and sheep cheese... goat's just fucking gross to me, no matter what I try. Steak and eggs with fries is one of my favorite meals, you lucky bastard. :D

OMG you're making my mouth water. I love a runny omelette too but for me that's more work, dirties a pan, a dish, a utensil and a spatula. I just boil a bunch of eggs at the beginning of the week and leave them in the fridge. Like you I much much prefer soft boiled warm eggs or 'onsen tamago' which is kinda poached in the shell, but hard is just convenient I suppose. I eat eggs probably more than any other protein, I'm actually kinda scared of the thought of developing an allergy, because I love them so much. The only way eggs could be better is if they didn't give me such horrendous gas. :D

I had a Jeresy special. Pork roll and chesse sandwich.
As a former NJ resident of 10 years I can back this... though I haven't tasted one since I was a teenager so I'm not sure how well it holds up. We ate this stuff called "Taylor Pork Roll" which I assume is the same.

There is a lot of food I've refused to eat since I was a child just based on that I think it looks/smells gross. My family also has a very weird taste when it comes to food like liver, jellied eels, goose pate and so on. There's also stuff I've tried once and will never try again like mustard, mayo, or anything with onions in it. I've never tried any cheese or milk that wasn't from a cow. I don't think I'd like it even though I can't really imagine it. Literally the only food I thought I wouldn't like and ended up loving was curry (as long as there's no onion otherwise I wont eat it no matter how nice it is. This has pissed many people off when they try to cook meals for me but to be fair I always told them NEVER to attempt to make me a meal because I'm so fussy I most likely wont eat it and it would take too long to explain everything I dislike. Even if it's something I like if it's prepared wrong or of low quality (microwave prepared) I'd rather go hungry than force myself to eat that and puke.

Ever since then I have been very picky about who makes my eggs, and I basically now have to dissect any eggs I get from anywhere to make sure there is no amount of goo anywhere. I also now have to have mine over medium well, where the edges are hard and just slightly gooey/runny in the dead center. THANK MAMA!!! haha

It's worth it to me to have it hot, if I liked them as much cold, I would likely use your approach. Eggs are magnificent, and loaded with more nutrients than most other foods, so I make sure to eat them daily. They only give me gas if a break from eating them for a day or two and then get back on track, in my daily diet they don't bother my stomach. Sent from my HTC PH39100 using Tapatalk 2

THANK MAMA!!! haha[/quote'] I share a bit of the disgust you feel for the clear, undercooked goo. I have an average of two eggs a day, usually fried (over medium), with sausage or over rice, but lately I've been breaking the yolks, frying them hard, and putting them in sandwiches or burritos. My other favorite thing is to scramble four eggs in a bowl with some milk, make an omelet in a skillet with some basil, salt, and smoked paprika, and while it's still a little runny, top it with cheddar cheese and finish it in the oven around 400. Oh, delicious...

Just indulged in The Pig Pen from one of my favorite burger joints. This place won the Best Burger In the World award at The Rio in Vegas last year, and it's not hard to see why, everything I've had here has been excellent. They smoke their own bacon in house, and all of their burgers are cooked and assembled perfectly. www.lucky13slc.com/menus/ Sent from my HTC PH39100 using Tapatalk 2

    • Whichever tier of thrash metal you consigned Sacred Reich back in the 80's/90's they still had their moments.  "Ignorance" & "Surf Nicaragura" did a great job of establishing the band, whereas "The American Way" just got a little to comfortable and accessible (the title track grates nowadays) for my ears.  A couple more records better left forgotten about and then nothing for twenty three years.  2019 alone has now seen three releases from Phil Rind and co.  A live EP, a split EP with Iron Reagan and now a full length.

Notable addition to the ranks for the current throng of releases is former Machine Head sticksman, Dave McClean.  Love or hate Machine Head, McClean is a more than capable drummer and his presence here is felt from the off with the opening and title track kicking things off with some real gusto.  'Divide & Conquer' and 'Salvation' muddle along nicely, never quite reaching any quality that would make my balls tingle but comfortable enough.  The looming build to 'Manifest Reality' delivers a real punch when the song starts proper.  Frenzied riffs and drums with shots of lead work to hold the interest.

There's a problem already though (I know, I am such a fucking mood hoover).  I don't like Phil's vocals.  I never had if I am being honest.  The aggression to them seems a little forced even when they are at their best on tracks like 'Manifest Reality'.  When he tries to sing it just feels weak though ('Salvation') and tracks lose real punch.  Give him a riffy number such as 'Killing Machine' and he is fine with the Reich engine (probably a poor choice of phrase) up in sixth gear.  For every thrashy riff there's a fair share of rock edged, local bar act rhythm aplenty too.

Let's not poo-poo proceedings though, because overall I actually enjoy "Awakening".  It is stacked full of catchy riffs that are sticky on the old ears.  Whilst not as raw as perhaps the - brilliant - artwork suggests with its black and white, tattoo flash sheet style design it is enjoyable enough.  Yes, 'Death Valley' & 'Something to Believe' have no place here, saved only by Arnett and Radziwill's lead work but 'Revolution' is a fucking 80's thrash heyday throwback to the extent that if you turn the TV on during it you might catch a new episode of Cheers!

    • Full length number 19 from overkill certainly makes a splash in the energy stakes, I mean there's some modern thrash bands that are a good two decades younger than Overkill who can only hope to achieve the levels of spunk that New Jersey's finest produce here.  That in itself is an achievement, for a band of Overkill's stature and reputation to be able to still sound relevant four decades into their career is no mean feat.  Even in the albums weaker moments it never gets redundant and the energy levels remain high.  There's a real sense of a band in a state of some renewed vigour, helped in no small part by the addition of Jason Bittner on drums.  The former Flotsam & Jetsam skinsman is nothing short of superb throughout "The Wings of War" and seems to have squeezed a little extra out of the rest of his peers.

The album kicks of with a great build to opening track "Last Man Standing" and for the first 4 tracks of the album the Overkill crew stomp, bash and groove their way to a solid level of consistency.  The lead work is of particular note and Blitz sounds as sneery and scathing as ever.  The album is well produced and mixed too with all parts of the thrash machine audible as the five piece hammer away at your skull with the usual blend of chugging riffs and infectious anthems.

There are weak moments as mentioned but they are more a victim of how good the strong tracks are.  In it's own right "Distortion" is a solid enough - if not slightly varied a journey from the last offering - but it just doesn't stand up well against a "Bat Shit Crazy" or a "Head of a Pin".  As the album draws to a close you get the increasing impression that the last few tracks are rescued really by some great solos and stomping skin work which is a shame because trimming of a couple of tracks may have made this less obvious.
