  1. Good morning everyone! As mentioned in my presentation, I am the drummer of a thrash-groove metal band. We are coming out with our second album (March 19th) and I created this topic to get feedback and constructive criticism to improve the composition of the next tracks! So without fear, come forward! I leave you here some links to the listening and our videos. You would be doing us a favor by subscribing to our social channels to stay updated on our adventures and all the news! https://linktr.ee/italicuscarnifex https://open.spotify.com/intl-it/artist/1dY7MHDsUZ1A65n5b1MMYV https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Wf7zhskQw4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUT_Yon8tLM Thanks everyone in advance!!
  2. Hey everyone, I want to see what you all think about bands like As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, The Black Dahlia Murder, Unearth, Trivium, etc. I watched this documentary about the evolution of heavy metal and I was pretty surprised because I thought these bands were all Metalcore. Some of these groups have been in the game for a while, so who do you all think is next in this specific genre?
  3. Hi everybody! If your new year resolution is to listen to more riff-based, assault-on-the-ear metal, then you're in luck! The first ever single by Hellstedt is now available: Spotify Apple Music Amazon Music YouTube SoundCloud BandCamp Thanks for listening and have a great 2023! Please consider telling a friend if you think they'd enjoy the song!

Their current lineup consist of guitarists Jimi Kuningas and Verner Janné, bassist Tuomas Turunen and lead vocalist Anssi Väinö. Imperative are set to bring back the pounding guitar riffs of the past along with lightning fast solos, thundering bass licks, pedal to the metal drumming and glass shattering vocals. Their original tone is a mixture of fast paced thrash metal laced with a more modern soundscape, creating a totally unique listening experience to the listener. Imperative has a humble aim to freshen up the music scene by adding a bit of long lost (even though much needed) 80’s in-your-face type of metal madness to the record charts and playlists around the globe. 7. Summoned to DIe is looking for a drummer for an upcoming album. Main influences from the band are mostly old school death metal bands (Death, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Obituary, Morbid Angel and so on). The band is currently signed to a distribution deal (not a record deal...yet) You can find the first album on all streaming platforms. Rest assured, the next album will be MILES better than the previous, with better and more brutal material as the members have grown in skill in the previous years. We are looking for both part time and full time drummers, if you just want to sit in and be apart of the creation of this album, that is totally cool with us if you live in a different part of the world for example. Hoping for a response

  18. I am trying to find others near me to play in a metal band, but I don't have any other ideas for finding them. I'm 16 so it's super hard to find band members at about the same age. I've tried craigslist but nobody responded, tried to get friends to start learning instruments, and checking other forums. So far nothing has worked. Any ideas of what I can do to move foreward? Better ways of finding people?
  19. Rate my song and get it for free! Hope you guys like it, i just want people to hear my music that's all, I dont want any money or promotion, just some cool guys to hear what I got. Harvest By Tyrannis Enjoy!

We are heavily influenced by epic thrash like old Metallica/Sepultura/Slayer, but with plenty of guitar harmonies á la Iron Maiden/In Flames, and with some death metal hints in the vocals and the drums, there´s no limits! Here is the amazing cover by french artist Remy Cooper Here is a crazy lyric video we made, for the song Sky Burial And here the playlist of the E.P. in streaming in Youtube Hope you enjoy it, follow us on Facebook if you wanna stay updated! 23. Hello guys, I'm Allan, one piece from the (by now) duo A New Kind (as you can see). We wanted to created something which wasn't focused in one subgenre. We were (and still are) inspired by Thrash, Heavy, Prog, Death... And the rest of this marvelous thing we call Metal. And here, we'd like to get heard and have some feedback about our song (cause it's homemade) and if it sounds good. We will never know if we don't show. We're open to help in any aspects too! Feel free to talk, criticize, give your opinion. Perhaps we can become friends! That's it for now! Thanks! So, we released two songs as a demo version and there's a third, but we set that as "Unfinished Raw Version" (cause we haven't decide how the solo will look like haha) I appreciate a lot if you at least leave a comment on Rebel Nation, please! 24. Hey guys, My band Twisted Autocracy have just released a new song called "Eat Sleep Slave Repeat" Please check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks DA
  25. Hi folks! The name's Gerhardt, Dutch, 28, and I live in Spain. I'm currently writing an album, but need experienced musicians willing to dedicate themselves to this project. Stylistically, it's somewhere between 90's Metallica's Load and Reload, and The Haunted's last three records with Dolving. The way I compose tends to create heavy rock songs with an often classic (80's and 90's) melodic thrash and grunge basis, but with a (hopefully) haunting, psychedelic ambience. Aside from this project, some of my favourite bands and sources of inspiration are: Mastodon, Opeth, Gojira, The Haunted, Metallica, Megadeth, plus any good movie soundtrack that strikes a nerve. (Preferably John Williams, James Newton Howard, and Phillip Glass.) I studied music for three years in the U.K., and I'm a guitarist, singer, and composer. Therefor, I need the rest of a solid, experienced band! I'm willing to travel anywhere really, (Sweden, USA, UK, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Germany. Anyway, hit me up for any info! Don't be a fool, this could be cool! Let's make some good music!
