Alabaster, the guys in my band feel the same about BTBAM and TBDM, they don't get it! The Red Chord is awesome live. I like all of Meshuggah's music but I do like the newer stuff more. Obzen and Nothing kick ass. Koloss is pretty solid too.
Explorers and Taylors are both very nice! My dad has a couple Taylors and they both play and sound amazing. I'm an Ibanez and Jackson guy. I have an Ibanez prestige which is my go to, a Jackson soloist as my backup. The soloist has the most character in terms of tone and appearance, (purple eerie dess swirl pattern) but it doesn't play nearly as smooth as the prestige. I also have an Ibanez SA, a 7321 and a Jackson Warrior. I play through a Peavey 6505+ and a Marshall 1960 cab.
I listened to a bunch of the Black Harvest songs. I really dig it! Very nice production on it. I see a couple of my facebook friends already liked your band page, have you played in the Buffalo or Rochester area?
Relentless, what are some good doom metal bands? I've been listening to Horn of the Rhino lately, not sure if that counts as doom... maybe just sludgy and slow.
That sucks that you have to relearn but at least you kept at it. I'm sure that was frustrating. I wanted a Razorback for the longest time but somehow ended up with a warrior. Did you get one with a crazy Dimebag pattern?
Thanks everyone for the nice welcome!
