  1. Yes, VERY trippy stuff, although I like "Room of Angel" a lot more from that OST. There are a lot of great tracks from first five games, I generally love SH2 OST the most.
  2. Not a big fan of the band, but I always remember "Patterns in the Ivy" instrumental from "Blackwater Park". Beautiful, atmospheric track. "Coil" from "Watershed" is also great. "In my Time of Need" is very dreamy and kinda nostalgic, melancholic. For some reason there was a point back in 2011 where I listened "Heritage" for quite some time, I don't know why. I don't know, there are couple of tracks that I really like to listen when I'm in a mood for that kind of atmosphere.
  3. Akira Yamaoka - Laura Plays the Piano (Silent Hill 2 OST)
  4. Machine Head - Take My Scars Machine Head - Violate
  5. Machine Head - Beyond the Pale Machine Head - Catharsis
  6. I'm listening "Fall to Depravity" right now, sounds sick. Similar sound to Dodecahedron, I like it a lot.
  7. Dodecahedron - Kwinteesens (album)
  8. Mayhem - Freezing Moon (8-bit version)
  9. I like instrumental for the most part, especially drums. Production is pretty cool. On the other hand, vocals are way too unintelligible for my taste, although I like moment with 4:41 with screams and growls. 6-7/10.
  10. I don't know, I always felt that "Big Four" and other American bands, Testament, Exodus etc. had much more relentless sound. German thrash has dirtier production, but never had that kind of energy. Not saying that German thrash is not aggressive, but I think Bay Area was more aggressive.
  11. I like Bay Area more, it feels more aggressive and flashy and grand to me. But I also enjoyed some Kreator and Sodom.
  12. A year ago - first live performance of "Shadow" @ KoMA 13!

  13. Ontos On - Sombre Chaotic Entrance in the Chasm of Existential Resignation (album) Gorgoroth - Sign of an Open Eye
  14. Korn - Lies Metallica - Hardwired (live @ Howard Stern) The Misfits - Descending Angel
  15. Maybe, I feel that music is kinda less violent, vocals are pretty sick.
  16. Anaal Natrakh - Depravity Favours the Bold By the way, in your opinion, what's the most extreme band in terms of sonic aggression? I never heard anything more brutal, chaotic and aggressive than Natrakh to this day, their combination of black/death/grind and industrial is just amazing.
