I'm also a big fan of some of their work, although I listened to them I've really struggled to get into siren charms and playground fading as albums. For me Colony and Clayman were both great albums
Strange topic of conversation, but I read all the posts so must be something interesting about it
Nordic languages are particularly difficult from a pronunciation perspective... much easier to read and write than talk (currently learning Danish)
Stampin' ground were mid 90s to about 2005. Their music varied quite a bit across the 3 albums they did but I quite like it. Think they have quite a few mixed styles...
I'd probably say I stick more to metal in general. Stuff like At the gates / The haunted.
I'm just North of London. I agree we've had some good stuff from the UK over the years. I quite like Stampin' Ground who had a bit of a hardcore edge to them at times... Think they were from a bit further south than the West Midlands.
I had a little listen to Heart of a Coward... See what you mean very Meshuggah meets Deftones. Pretty cool sound will give it a bit more of a listen - Cheers for the recommendation.
I've found recently I'm steering a lot towards Scandanavian metal!
