Hey Marko - What Focals do you have? FWIW, I have a set of Focal floor standing speakers in my loungeroom paired with the Naim Uniti set-up. Sound cancelling-wise I've got the Bose Quiet Comfort 35II and Sony WH-1000xm4 and I prefer the Sony. Right on! I have the Sony MDR-XB700 and like you, have had them for 15 years. Absolutely love them to death. I'm using them right now!!

Volume builders build volume houses. Its that simple. We have built twice now, and my advice is to go through a private builder. It will cost more but you can get whatever you want. It will cost more and take longer but its well worth it in my opinion. We have discussed moving from Melbourne at some point but honestly, Sydney is a massive shit-hole, Queensland too hot, Adelaide is..well... Adelaide, Perth I have never been to (might be an option but its virtually another country that far away?) and Tasmania is beautiful but far too small and far too fucken cold - even for a guy from Melbourne lol.

Black Wreath - A Pyre of Lost Dreams (2009). Kim Larsen's post-Saturnus death/doom project. 4 songs over 50 minutes. Enjoying this a lot. @FatherAlabaster have you heard this? Yes Whitenoise, the one and only. Was a long time ago now, trying to recall some of the notable contributors.. I take it the Order of the Luciferian or whatever it was called closed too at some point? I'd been absent for a few months in here and when I checked-in again I thought I recognized some old names (eg Marko) - did I see Trekker pop up in here at some point? Sounds like the 3 x bonus tracks are essentially the Crossing the Blades EP he released last year? I bought the EP and loved it. Ride on the Wild Side, Stargazed, a pretty good version of Strutter plus Crossing the Blades. Pull the trigger. Lol, sounds like a Ghost of Doctor Metal type playlist....

Sorry been MIA all weekend and I see you've listened to it yourself already. Definitely my favorite post-reunion release but lets be honest, that's not saying much. Decent album with average production and the ever present drum machine. Some nice songs in here but Death or Glory it is not. What's your take?
