Antareth

Hi! We've just released a new song from our upcoming Progressive doom Metal album and we'd like to get some feedback. Tell us what you think, your opinion means a lot.

To be honest I'm not a good guitar player (and I suck at mixing/mastering), and I refuse to adjust the timing errors with my DAW or Audition because that would kill the "humanity" of the performance. However the whole randomness of the song was intended, I almost always write songs this way.

Thanks for the comment! However, I'm a bit confused since another guy told me that the song isn't repetitive enough. I guess it depends on the music we're used to listen to.

I think the metal fanbase is still huge. If course, I don't think it will become mainstream like the usual pop BS you hear on the regular radio, It's a good thing to be honest.

Nice thread! Its hard to become well known in the world of metal, there's so many great bands around. I'm new around here. I mainly listen to doom metal, but I also enjoy progressive and melodic death metal. My favourite bands are Opeth, Evoken, Pantheist, Burzum, Black Sabbath, Sceptic Flesh, Age of Taurus, Dir En grey, Aggaloch, Katatonia and Kalter. I mainly play guitar, bass, drums and Keyboard, but my fav instrument is... the glockenspiel. Dunno why. Anyway, I'll look around the forum, and maybe I'll make a thread to present my band.
