But what I wasn't prepared for was Killswitch Engage. I listen to a few of their records, so I was familiar with most of their material. But they step it the fuck up live.

Funny story about not wanting to go into the water while I was on vacation. On the beach there are rows of large stone pillars that essentially make a pier out into the water about 100 yards. This is more than half of the way I decided to be a bad ass and go all the way to the end to take a picture, and was successful Around the same time high tide decided to roll in and the waves started to get bigger. I turned to retreat back to the beach but stepped on a slanted middle stone that was covered in algae. It might as well have been ice because I got zero traction and slipped, falling onto the outer stone and finally into the water. Luckily I didn't hit my head and a wave pushed me back onto the rocks, where I pulled myself up and hastily got my ass back to land.

If this was for me, I don't get the reference.
