  4. 1. Mercyful Fate 'Melissa' 2. Emperor 'In The Nightside Eclipse' 3. The Cure 'Pornography' 4. Ministry 'Filth Pig' 5. Beherit 'Drawing Down The Moon' In all fairness, I'd probably give a different answer tomorrow.
  5. Yeah, but I didn't see him then. I saw him at Bloodstock last year, always wanted to see him live.
  6. Lots of punk is great, though I don't really like pop-punk like Greenday etc. Amebix, Skitsystem, New York Dolls, Ramones, Misfits, Deadboys and GG Allin are probably my favourite, though some of them definitely teeter of the edge of punk music at times and have done different kind of stuff.
  7. The score to 'Sinister' by Christopher Young is amazing, it has one of my Ulver tracks on it as well. John William's movie scores are usually great, 'Memoirs Of A Geisha' being one of my favourites.
  8. 1. Nine Inch Nails 2. The Cure 3. Chelsea Wolfe 4. The Velvet Underground 5. David Bowie
  9. I saw him live last year, fucking great.
  10. Top Albums Of 2013. As it's the end of the year.... I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone's favourite albums were from 2013. Doesn't have to be a specific number, between five to ten. Here are mine (and in no particular order): 1. Voices - 'From The Human Forest...' 2. Portal - 'Vexovoid' 3.Chelsea Wolfe - 'Pain Is Beauty' 4. Watain - 'The Wild Hunt' 5. Nine Inch Nails - 'Hesitation Marks' 6. Altar Of Plagues - 'Teethed Glory And Injury' 7. Cara Neir - 'Portals To A Dead, Better World' There may have been a few more, but I can't really remember now. There are a fair few I didn't get round to picking up yet.
  11. 1. Impaled Nazarene - 'Recreate Thru Fear' 2. Xasthur - 'The Darkest Light' 3. Wolfbrigade - 'Hurricane Veins' 4. The Black Mages - 'Man With The Machine Gun' 5. The Cure - 'One Hundred Years' 6. Zola Jesus - 'Vessel' 7. Misfits - 'Green Hell' 8. Luna Sea - 'Velvet' 9. Tsjuder - 'Dying Spirits' 10. Forgotten Tomb - 'Reject Existence' Haha, that's a pretty good playlist. I should listen to music on shuffle more often, though took ages to write this out as I always have to listen to a song all the way through.

  13. I live in Norwich, UK. There's plenty of musicians, just very few I can work with.
  14. It makes it impossible to find musicians to work with here. To me, people with that mindset just appear as if it's all for show. As if they cannot possibly bear the notion that somebody possibly does not consider them to be the most 'metal' thing since man discovered steel.
  15. 8/10 I like it. I'll certainly be looking into more of their material.

    Pets

A Jack Russell and too many damn cats, haha.
  17. 'See You In Hell' is my favourite by them, great album.
  18. Considering the amount of people's jaws that have hit the floor when I've said that, I guess it is a controversial opinion. Unfortunately most of the people in my local 'metal scene' are of the 'if you don't worship Pantera or Slayer' then you're obviously not metal' sort.
  19. I always wanted the overture from The Omen played at my funeral. Or something completely stupid like 'Sporting A Woody' by Dangerous Toys
