I honestly don't know why girls do that, the problem will not get fixed if you stay quiet. I always say loud and clear what's wrong. I hate when my friends get in fights with their bfs and say "he should know what he did wrong". He's not mind reader, and maybe the things that bother her are completely normal from his point of view. What you put for italian, "mai arrendersi", is more impersonal, if you want it to be more imperative, like (you)don't ever give it, it's "non arrenderti mai". it's ok even without "mai" which means "never", the message is the same.

Gone girl is a new movie so it's ok if you never heard of it give it a try you may like it. And you should definitely watch the Hobbit, it's a solid movie and it's not a waste of time. Maybe you'll like it more than we do.

I can not help you with french, I had an opportunity to study it but I chose spanish because it sounds more familiar. I learned italian by simply watching italian tv when I was a kid, and believe me it helps a lot even if you don't have subtitles. If you know the basics of the language, you will easily connect the plot with the dialog, and soon you'll realize how repetitive movie dialogs are, which is good when you are trying to learn Maybe the best thing for learning basic stuff are cartoons. Cartoons have simple, short and slower dialogs.

If I understood correctly, you are watching movies with english audio and french subtitles? Try the other way around, it's more important to hear the words than to see them in writing.

All of that makes sense to you because you've read the books and you know all of that from the books. It was probably to complicated to explain it in the movie and it would require much more time.

Try watching movies or reading books in a foreign language, or best of all, find someone you can talk to or write e-mails in the language you want to learn, that way you will have to put an effort in making even the simple sentences and actually use the words you so written somewhere, it will give you context and meaning so it will be easier to remember. It surely makes it easier than trying to remember words like a parrot I am so glad you are feeling good

After a lifetime of doing nothing, I finally started exercising. And I am half dead. But I feel like I'm doing something useful and it kind of feels good I hope it will get less hard (can I say less hard?is it correct?) with time.

Yea I will too, not because I am a fan but because my bf is. I just hope it doesn't suck because if it does we will never hear the end of it.
