Overkill is one of those bands that I enjoy their latest stuff just as much as their older stuff, they are a very consistent thrash band, definitely in my top 10.

If you're feeling the modern vibe, listen to Martyr (Warp Zone and Feeding The Abcess) and Unhuman (s/t) as well, and you may like a new album by a band called Australis.

I think the first album I bought with my own money was... Kill Em All. That or Ride The Lightning. Then Eventually I got Master of Puppets, Rust in Peace, Killing is my Business, Peace Sells, and on and on. I have all pre-load Metallica, and for Megadeth I have cryptic writings and earlier. I think my next will be alot of Maiden, Anthrax, Slayer, Exodus, King Diamond, Diamond Head... and Nuclear Assault, possibly Gojira. And... alot of other bands on my list. Fun Fun.

Hell yeah dude, that's the cream of the crop. Check out Obliveon and Nocturnus, too.

Metallica for me! since i was 8 years old when my mate burnt me a copy of 9 songs which included 2 megadeth tracks. i then got into other thrash because of it and extended my tastes when i started going to high school.

Stone, Ballast Point, Green Flash, Lagunitas (more Northern California), etc...
