  1. Nasty savage. Love that early thrash.
  2. Welcome to the forums! I see we have controversy already. That's why I like this forum. Lots to learn about metal.
  3. I'm really new to the Last FM site. I'm finding some great new music. I have looked up many artists discussed in this forum. I'm learning to like other genres of metal from the recomendations. Stuff I have never given any notice to and now regret. I want to find other Last FM users to add to my friends list or Neighbours so I may enjoy more music that is liked by many. Please post you username if you like so I may add you. Mine is...Sadistic1jj Sorry if this has been covered before, I just couldn't find a thread relating to this topic.
  4. Blackthorn - Hekpomahc Not Sure If I Like Blackthorn Yet. Would You Consider Them Blackened Death Metal?
  5. I havent been up there in a year or two. It changes all the time. There was a small bar down the street last time I was there and had several IPA's. Got good and fucked up before I saw a show. I think it was Rollins Band. It's good to hear that they are booking more metal bands there now. For a long while it was mostly pop-punk bands and emo crap. Oh, to stay on topic, listening to Shout at the devil - Motley Crue
  6. Thank you for that. I will definitly check out the prior issues.
  7. I'm just beginning to play bass (or learn to). I have a bass and amp an really enjoy it. I play mostly blues at this point to get my timing and finger plucking down. I am finding out that there are not a lot of people who set out to say I want to play bass. Most are guitarists who are in a band and they need a bassist so they begin to oplay bass. For me I love guitars but my passion is bass. My good friend plays guitar and cant wait for me to improve my chops. He listens to alot of music like I do but mostly old school metal and rock. I cant wait for the chance to jam with him. One day I'd like to play in a band. Not necessarily metal but just have fun with whatever I'm playing. Does anyone have any good tips on improving? It's a slow learning process and I am doing it online at www.studbass.com
