  1. Hmm, for me all this new-metal (or nu-metal, whatever) genre has nothing to do with metal. Yet it's just my opinion. The only band that has something to do with metal is Slipknot. Though I don't like it either. Hah, I am more concern if Anal Cunt is a metal band (for you). For me it's quite obvious that it is, although Metal Archives admins seems to think quite the opposite
  2. I will never understand the phenomenom of Aura Noir. I mean it's not a bad band, but their albums are so wiped out from aggression. They lacks of true, endless rage that other bands possess. Yet I must admit that they are much better onstage. My top 5 is currently: The Flight of Sleipnir Thergothon Graveland Summoning Belenos
  3. Damn, a bit too late Horseradish - don't know why, but I use it more often. And I hate ginger beer. Tapes or vinyls? (again)
  4. Theater, it's rather obvious Maybe people are sometimes annoying, but still it's way better than watching a movie in home. Tapes or vinyls?
  5. I rarely listen to Iron Maiden now, but I propably like the most the debut album - because of a bit raw sound and of course a sentiment from my childhood
  6. Razor wire. Electric fence can easily kill somebody by accident, so it's not the best idea. At least if you want to protect your field/house. Whiskey or vodka?
  7. Well in my opinion it's better than Aealo. It had some great riffs, but too many times they were arranged in a bit boring or fucked-up way. Kata... is much more primal, yet it sounds quite fresh so I like it more. But I can agree that Theogonia is better than both of those albums - except strange, a bit plastic sound of drums. And by the way - mostly I don't like when metal sounds too "modern" (if you know what I mean), yet I like what Rotting Christ is playing now. They still have something to say.
  8. Kroda - Varulven And after it propably Lord Wind - Ales Stenar
  9. Oh, and I also buy some metal press (mostly zines), but only in polish language so it's not worth to mention them here
  10. Hmm, I read almost only Chaos Vault and Masterful Maga'zine, but they're written in polish language. Yet the guy from Chaos writes also reviews for Old Death Metal webzine, so I suppose this is also quite good.
  11. Dude, start with that: do something with your life instead of writing crap on the internet. What you're doing now is pathetic and childish. If you don't like your father's behavior just say him it and be a men, instead of crying here how he is awful. How old are you anyway?
  12. Asphalt. Just because. Blonde or brunette?
  13. In this week: Interviews Waylander Moss of Moonlight Review Daemonia Nymphe - "Psychostasia"
  14. Latest Morbid Angel album (and remixes of course) - what a piece of crap. Maybe I'm not open minded or shit like that, but this stuff is just terrible. Fen - "Dustwalker". Atmospheric black metal with post-rock elements can be really more than listenable. But this album is so boring and mediocre... I wasted circa a month to find something interesting in it. And I failed. Iron Maiden - "The Final Frontier". It's cool that a band doesn't want to just live on it's good reputation from the '80s and '90s but this album is so indifferent... They didn't record anything good since 2000, maybe it's time to think about it Dave and co.? And that's it for now on.
  15. Summoning The Flight of Sleipnir Kroda Wardruna Daemonia Nymphe Those two last are not metal, but fuck it
  16. Well as it was said, it's hard to choose just 5 albums. 5 bands would be a bit easier. Or at least "25 top albums" But here's my list: Burzum's debut album Katatonia - Discouraged Ones Entombed - Wolverine Blues Mayhem - Deathcrush Summoning - Stronghold
  17. I mean not only about my zine, but also something else of course.
  18. Sure, I am going to write something on forum from time to time
  19. Couldn't find the place for it. If it is forbidden or whatever just delete it. I would like to promote here my 'zine - Heathen Altar. Although I like many musical styles, I focus here mainly on Black/Pagan/Folk/Atmospheric music (yes, music, even if most of that music is metal). From time to time I also write something about european paganism and history. Oh, and there will be for sure limited paper edition - but I can't say when I am going to release it. Interviews I have done lately: The Flight of Sleipnir (USA) Sear Bliss (Hungary) Skyforger (Latvia) Caladan Brood (USA) Radogost (Poland) I am currently waiting for the answers from: Summoning (Austria), Kroda (Ukraine), Belenos (France), Waylander (Northern Ireland) and Moss of Moonlight (USA). From time to time I will be posting here what's new on HA'Z (reviews, interviews and articles). Cheers! Vladyka / Heathen Altar 'Zine Heathen Altar 'Zine
