Hi fellow metalheads! Whoa, it´s been 3 years and just got back here yesterday how´s things in GLOBAL metal community? My band Dogtor got activated earlier this year and we´re promoting our asses off -Jii / Dogtor

Hi all! It´s been almost three years since my last post Well we´re back again with our 3rd album, "Shellshokk" which is - in my opinion - our best! Recorded live, no gimmicks, just loud and brutal! It´s good to remember, as Viking said that it´s not olny white against the res. It works vise versa too. For example here in Finland there are an increasing amount of ethnic gangs starting to form. You can see gang signs on concrete almost everywhere - looks like a cheap "Vatos Locos"-oriented film here in Helsinki A lot of people are taking advance of our "very-friendly" immigrant politics. Now we have foreign teenagers roaming the streets all day and all night so it+s pretty obvious that we run into problems. Politicians just smile in the papers and NEED to look good in the eyes of the rest of Europe but alas, our own people are very fed up with them.

How do You guys see tolerance today in Your communities? Is there more racism, sexism or things like that nowadays? What should we tolerate and what not? I got the idea for posting this as I scrambled through the latest Vikernes-case and his blog writings. Seemed that he has a lot of followers for his thoughts. As far as I´m concerned, I don´t care if you´re white, black, red, green, thin, obese, tall, short, gay or straight - if you´re an asshole, you´re an asshole. I don´t judge people by religion, nationality or economic status and therefore don´t want to be judged by them either.

Yeah, I´ve always wondered what´s in it for them? What is it that I dont see? Has god promised and reserved something cool up in heaven for the ones who convert the most heretics? Religion is very personal so it´s sick to try to brainwash you something else. For example, if my favourite food would be like steak with fries, I don´t accept some fanatic to come and tell me it should be pea soup. Come on. Let me me eat!

Maybe I´m just being too pessimistic. It´s true that people have opened their eyes for human (and animal) rights and the actions of big companies and the shit that globalisation causes. People are really trying to change the world. Nevertheless, it all seems too little when the cold fact is that drugs and guns are the two biggest moneymakers in this world :/

i work at a warehouse and I fukking hate it :D Every day is the same, no-brainer shit! I´ve been working for over ten years, never really studied except for the mandatory and now I regret it. But - I have my band and we´re doing everything to some day make a living with it. Been playing the guitar for 25 years, so that is all I can do properly. It doesn´t pay the bills yet, but I´ve decided that I´m jumping off the squirrel´s wheel soon and start doing music (troubadour, acoustic etc.) for a living. Afterall, there´s no point to waste this one-time trip called life for something you hate doing. Nice to hear some of you guys are happy with what you do!

Scary thought! All I can say is that I will NEVER fight wars for capitalism. They can throw me in jail or shoot me, but I´ll never kill for money. I´m pretty sure I don´t ever have to kill for any reason, but money - no way. I put no trust in the world leaders. They say that by voting you can change things. Well, I´ve voted many times and we´re only going for the worse here. Let´s see what happens. I hope I don´t have to apologize to my kids for getting them into this world!!

When I think of people and society, I like to compare it with animals. We´re not that different. I think that the main difference between man and animal is that a man is aware of his existence. He doesn´t live merely by instinct. We have guilt, pride, envy and hate. Animals don´t. Animals fight for territory and food and we fight only because of pride, envy and hate. We can veil these original reasons with mish-mash talk about liberty and stuff like that but nothing will change as long as man walks the Earth. Sad but true. There will always be asshole leaders with too much pride, envy and hate. In my opinion, the world is doomed But we can live our own lives righteously- we can be fair to each others. It´s all it takes and our own "little worlds" are/ will be nice, peaceful places to live in for those around us.

What do you guys think of Varg´s aspects on Europe´s status? Just some lunatic mambo-jambo or something else...? Coz I think that people are getting angry and frustrated - not because of different nationalities - but of the actions of their political leaders. Things are starting to look a bit alarming, with all this economic crisis and people getting treated like shit by companies and capitalism. Hell - starts to look like times before WW I !

I confess that I´ve been commiting a slow suicide with cigarettes for almos 18 years no. Tried to quit two times last year and I WILL quit. My reasons for starting to smoke were utterly stupid. I thought it looked cool when guys in AC/DC and Motörhead smoked. Especially Lemmy. True story! Then, it got hold of me and here we are, almost 20 years and god knows how many euros burnt in the air! I got kids, and I never smoke around them, nor anyone else. They don´t deserve it. Last time i tried to quit I told it to my doctor and he said it´s the wisest thing a man can ever do, concerning his health. Besides, I don´t want to support these faceless, remorseless companies that kill the Earth and millions of people, legally. There - many reasons to quit ehh?
