So my truck is broke down once again. Now i get to sit around in Kansas City, Kansas waiting for the Peterbilt shop to open up on monday. Considering I just spent $8k on this damn trucks DPF system I would expect it to work but sadly there is yet again another fuckin problem with the DPF system that caused my truck to d-rate. Basically it the part that sprays fuel into the DPF system(the DPF fuel enable accuator) is clogged or something and not getting fuel to where it needs to go. Seem like a simple enough fix however because of it's location on the truck it's going to be quite costly, something like $3500 in work and parts, possibly more if there's anything else that needs fixed. I never realized until recently how costly it is to fixed a semi.
