  1. The Album the U.S. Government Doesn't Want You to Hear! Leadsucker's "Burn" is now available from Toxic Highway Recordings! It is an outright indictment of American politics and ideals that eschews the manufactured theatrics of most similar bands to deliver an aggressive, polarizing album full of raw emotions. For digital downloads, the album is available on Bandcamp for just $2, and that includes 7 tracks not available on the album version. Or you can head there to stream and preview every track in its entirety to see if it's heavy enough for you! For those that prefer physical copies, the disc is also available for purchase directly from the band for just $8 (including shipping to anywhere in the U.S.). Or for those that would rather steal it, you can, courtesy of The Pirate Bay! This is an album every American should hear, as it shows that the ultimate battle on U.S. soil isn't between Democrats and Republicans, but rather a government and its own citizens. "[Leadsucker] deliver one of the best punk albums to have come out on the punk scene this year." - JamSphere "Jam-packing a thirty-track album in under thirty minutes, Leadsucker has created an album that is hard-hitting, sharp and to the point: delivering a string of powerful messages in a short amount of time." - Lily Pavlovic, Indiemunity.com
  2. Leadsucker have released their second set of singles from their forthcoming album, "Burn". They can be listened to below, and can also be downloaded from their Reverbnation page (for free, of course). Additionally, the album, which is releasing August 28th via Toxic Highway Recordings, is available as a pre-order in iTunes for just $7.99! It's a full-length 30 track album for the price of an EP, and it equates to just over a quarter per track. Even if you don't have plans to purchase it, head on over there anyway. At the very least, you can listen to 30-second snippets of every song on "Burn". And since most songs are under a minute long, that means you can hear about 75% of the whole disc! Who knows, maybe it'll change your mind. The album will also be available from fine online shops in CD form, but I'll have more information on that once it becomes available. Without further adieu, here's "C57BL/6" and "Gross Incompetence". Thanks for looking!

    Korn

I feel like Korn is a "gateway band", where you hear them in high school and think they're so cool and heavy...until you discover real music, and then realize they're just a bunch of record label- manufactured posers, just like pretty much every "metal" band signed to a major label. Some of their songs I don't hate ("Alone I Break" was good), but I never listen to them. I went through my high school years.
  4. Hi there metalheads! Leadsucker could probably best be described as a hardcore punk/metal fusion, featuring downtuned guitars, odd-time signatures, and politically-charged lyrics. The three-piece outfit was founded by P.J. Hearn, a former government employee who became the focus of smear campaigns and retaliatory attacks from his own co-workers after bringing to light some shady activity that he became aware of, from within his own department. After putting up with it for some time, and realizing nothing was going to change, Hearn angrily quit his post, and channeled his frustrations into Leadsucker, adding bassist Austin Welch and drummer Sam Terrace into the mix. The bandmembers are known for their use of pseudonyms, and the decision to blur their faces out of publicity photos, in an attempt to prevent former co-workers from identifying Hearn. Their debut album, "Burn", due out on August 28th, is a blunt look at the state of America today; an album as urgent as it is necessary. Check out "America Doesn't Give a Fuck About You" and "Haute Culture" below. And keep on rockin'! America Doesn't Give a Fuck About You Haute Culture Thanks!
