The best black metal band, because they weren't obsessed with racism or murder or arson, they just concentrated on being so fucking evil and metal and it shows, they've made many flawless albums.

I had a Candlemass marathon today. I listened to all 11 of their albums, in order. It was challenging but very rewarding. I can now call myself a true Candlemass fan. I have a new found appreciation for their work with Robert Lowe, but Nightfall remains my favorite.

The first time I heard it I hated it, but I have to say with each subsequent play I enjoy it more and more.

There's some nice ideas on this album, compared with the soulless Outcast. "Everlasting Flame" and "Passage to Babylon" have really good melodies that make the songs seem...dare I say it, pretty?

I think that this album is too good and I love the sound of this album, it has every thing I need.

Good choice, my favorite Dark Tranquillity song is Punish My Heaven. Insomnium are amazing also, in face I prefer them to Dark Tranquillity. Above the Weeping World is a superb album.

I've never been a fan of Slayer but I think there's no discussion about the fact that nobody should leave as that young. Just read the story of his disease and his passing and that's really one of the bad ways to die.
