Re: Meshuggah. "Djent" is the sound that the guitarist from meshuggah invented, heavily palmmuted, 4 string power chord thing, and yes, Meshuggah is Djent, even the first Djent band. And if you say that it's pointless, you might as well say that all under-labels off Metal is pointless.
