Re: Periphery I'm really not a fan, but I think Spencer Sotelo is nothing compared to their original singer, Casey Sabol. I think the whole band kinda lost it's power when he left. He is imo the best clean singer in metal. Ever. No autotune either. If you compare that version of Icarus Lives to the album version you'll see what I'm talking about. Nowadays it's pretty hard to tell who's a good singer or even if they have a good voice with these "djent" bands. Even the best singers get autotuned the shit out of them. For example the new singer for the Haarp Machine, the singer is really a good singer, but you really can't hear it from the autotuned album vocals.

Re: Your favorite death metal bands? My favorite DM band must be Misery Index.. Just can't get enough of them. Adam Jarvis is one of the best drummers in the scene IMO. He really hits the drums, he doesn't just massage them like many do. ;D My favourite old school band is Deicide, Glen Benton is just a crazy vocalist.
