I'll just assume everyone on this forum feels that Breiviks actions were wrong. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Anders Breivik is the guy who slaughtered 69 people in a summer camp in Norway last year. Later this month, his sentence is expected to be announced. The prosecution wants to have him declared insane and sent to a mental institution. The defence wants him declared sane and sent to jail. Breivik himself says he is sane, but innocent. (go figure that one out.) What do you think? Can a sane person commit such acts or would declaring him insane - and thus not responsible for his actions - be an insult to the memories of all the people he killed?

What do you like to read? I love swedish thrillers, like the Stieg Larsson trilogy or the Mankell series. Also a big fan of Terry Pratchett. Older stuff I like to read are Shakespeare and a lot of medieval stuff, mainly about the Arthurian legends. It's quite fascinating to follow how those evolved over the centuries.

Re: Movies I didn't like them either, but Jack White was really interesting and I had a better understanding of what he was about afterwards, so I gave them another go and now I quite like the White Stripes. But it's not about their bands, it's about their love for the guitar... and yes, it is worth just to hear Jimmy play Battle of Evermore. And basically, if you like the sound of distorted guitars, you WILL like this film.
