It is their best album but my fav track is 'Dead Emotion'. It's just more intense. His voice will probably never be what it was. He spent to long destroying it for that, but the mere fact he was growling at all and in a fashion similar to how he sang that all those years ago gives me hope for their next studio release and live shows. He's such a horrible clean vocalist. He butchers his songs live and if they go back to how they were the songs will come through a lot better.

I get bored with CoD after the second track. I have a very hard time listening to that album all the way through. TEC on the other hand keeps me engaged and wanting more. If there's any problem with it, it's too short. CoD couldn't end fast enough. I've almost sold CoD a few times because it's the one Obituary album I rarely listen too. Yes James Murphy is a god but not even he could make that album rock like he did with Cancer, Death and Testament. Like I said, it's American doom/death at its finest. Cianide was generic death metal and Autopsy only had two good albums. TEC blows both away in every way possible.

Yes, I apologize to Kyle for not including him in my list. He did some incredible stuff with us. I'd also say Denson Angulo (bassist on the Nevertanezra EP, dude is an animal!) I disagree with you about the RHCP and Primus. That is all.

Believe it. It's good. Cope. And I've no problem believing they're phoning it it (minus Steve, I don't think he really has the luxury of phoning it in). Jack looked bored in Cannibal Corpse every time I saw them, but unfortunately for him that's where his fortune lies. He wants to play alternative but no one cares about it. Glen is probably burned out from a mixture of both the drama of his old band mates and life in the underground. He, like Jack, can't quit. They're institutionalized. It's not like they can go out and get regular jobs making livable wages with guitars/bassist/singer for ______ death metal band. It's probably very frustrating for them since they've obviously soured on this life style. They are a prime example of why investing your money wisely is so important.

All we need to fix that is: funds, time and a drummer. Any volunteers?

Sounds good. They started getting good on The Stench of Redemption. Their last few albums have been great death metal. Everything in between their first and Stench sucks horribly. I'll be getting this album.
