  1. I'm reading the news daily and yes it fills me with an unquenchable despair, but I need to know what's happening. We all do. That's the ONLY thing positive to come from the internet. The news isn't restricted to the same old outlets. More truth is available and more people seem to be waking up. Or so I hope.

  2. I would assume that he would be one of those people that likes more than one of their albums, because you know he would dig their faggy glam albums. Sent from my HTC PH39100 using Tapatalk 2
Actually I hate all their work except Power Metal. Their glam stuff is just awful rocky crap. So no, as usual you're both wrong.
  3. I try to avoid long blocks of bangin (zing)' date=' but when I perform with my band or witness an awesome set from another band, that all goes out the window. The energy forces me into a neck-whipping frenzy, I am unable to control myself. This is why I stretch extensively before shows! Stretching can effectively reduce soreness, not sure if it helps the hangover though :^']
That is very true. You're the only person I've met that does that. I try to before gigs because you never know when a riff will sneak up and smack your face.

Good album I like that one' date=' Nabatea, World of War and Burning Sunare all awesome songs [/quote'] It's alright but Better than Raw and The Dark Ride blow it out of the water. It's my favorite and their best.
  6. I understand that fire alarms have to be loud enough for the deaf to feel them but for those of us who can hear do they need to FUCKING DEAFEN US? There is an alarm right above my desk and it's so loud. No deaf people work here. No deaf people will EVER work here. Therefore, WHY do we have to have stuff so loud I now have a headache? Fuck PC everything!

  7. gosh' date=' I miss watching TON perform in Brooklyn... I wish there was another album coming out. And I wanted to like Seventh Void, but the song I heard really didn't have much to it. Bummer.[/quote'] I only got to see them three times. The last time was kind of a let down too. I met Pete and Josh the second time and got their autographs. Kenny and Johnny were inside getting drunk (I was 20 at the time and couldn't go to the bar section of the club, stupid rule). I was going to see Seventh Void when they came through a few years ago just to get Kenny's and Johnny's autographs but decided it wasn't worth sitting through their set. Their album is OK radio friendly doom but it's noting compared to TON. It would've been great to have lived in Brooklyn while they were still kicking. The ability to see them as often as possible would've rocked. I really wish they'd release all their demo material. That would be awesome. I was so excited when I heard about their boxed set coming out only to be turned off by the fact it was nothing more than a rerelease on freaking vinyl. I wanted it for the liner notes more than anything else as vinyl is so inferior to everything else. It's sad to know we'll never get another TON album. I'm currently hunting for live bootlegs as a result.
  8. Helloween was pretty cool and I like their new album, much more than Rabbit Don't Come Easy but it's lacking something. Perhaps it's the straight forward headbanging songs they used to make. This album was pretty much all arena anthems and while they are alright, they are best in moderation. Plus the leads are pretty sloppy. I'm not saying they suck by any means, but watching what they do and seeing how simplistic some of it is really changed my opinion of them. This album is certainly trying to be a simplistic & fun rocker, unlike Better than Raw and the Dark Ride which were just awesome power metal CD's. They put on a hell of a show too. I'd see them again.

  9. Eating - Apple Drinking - Water Listening - Station Dysthymia Doing - Typing and humming (not really however) Thinking - It's too bad I can't go to Denver this year, but at least I got to see Helloween. I guarantee they'll never come to UT again. Especially given the crap they had to put up with concerning the promoter. Hooray people ruining the touring scene at the local level!!
