Everyone loves a metal cover of a song. Here's a forum that will allow us to post every cover we can think of and post the originals too if we want. A band that came out in 1989, and split in 1993, Disembowelment are one of the best doom bands I know of. I highly recommend them to you all. Furthermore, I was told today that I know one of the old members... the bassist, Matt, works at my uni, and I talk to him all of the time. He used to have long hair, he's bald now haha. Also, he and the drummer (he told me today) about 6 months ago, started a band called d.USK. I highly recommend checking them out if you can. Re: Favourite Vocalist I love Anders Friden personally... but if not him, Mikael Stanne, or Mikael Åkerfeldt, (In Flames, Dark Tranquillity and Opeth respectively) it'd have to be Antti Haapanen of Noumena. Man's a death growling legend. Also, in the top 5 I MUST include her, Angela Gossow. GREAT voice, and even better looks heh. If I were to talk about clean vocalists, Mikael Åkerfeldt is definitely at the top of the list, followed by Anders Friden... after that, most probably somebody like Tarja Turunen of Nightwish, and Heidi Parviainen of Amberian Dawn. (I like the operatic singers quite a bit)

Anyways, if you want bad black metal, look no further than the crap released by Cryptopsy recently (by recently, I'm thinking around about 5 years). Oh, and there's also this: While not being the WORST of black metal, I still think it's shitty. The vocals are the only thing making me say that though.
