I thought the GTO was based off the Holden Monaro. I know the G8 was based off the VE Commodore so it's a shame Pontiac went bust. I prefer the Commodore to the Falcon but I'm biased because Holden is my V8 supercar manufacturer of choice.

They shared a front end with the Chevelle so I actually prefer the look of this 2nd-gen model from the year before - but the 3rd-gen was the height of performance.

@RelentlessOblivion So, we read the same Wikipedia article. Right before that sentence it says that there was already a ute built in the US before then. I'm not disputing that Oz owns the ute now, that new Maloo sounds amazing and we don't even have any utes nowadays.

I won't deny you do the term prouder (the Maloo GTS is awesome and it sucks that the US lacks an equivalent*)  - but we invented the ute. And then we built it for you, in the form of Ford Model A.
Not the same thing either, pickup truck in the US could mean anything from a ute to a Nissan Frontier to a GMC Topkick C4500.
* the Saleen 331 and Ford SVT F-150 Lightning are about as close as it gets now that the El Camino and Ranchero have bitten the dust.

Wow what a great feeling. I just shattered all my targets for that trainer session. I'm improving quicker then I thought possible, have already impressed my track pilot, and it just motivates me to train even harder. Of course this does mean I'll need to consider any overseas trips in far greater detail but that's the price you pay I guess.

My girlfriend was taken into hospital yesterday with an extremely severe allergic reaction (they have no idea what to), and as her uncle and aunt are on a business trip to London, I had to go with her to the hospital to explain why happened. Long story short, I was with her in the incentive care unit until about 4 o' clock this morning. I had to say I was her cousin just so they would let me in to see her (although that deception went straight out of the window when she kissed me as soon as the oxygen mask came off). She is now fully conscious again and in a stable condition, thank the lord.

D'you mean the second-gen Viper? SRT-10 is just the performance tag, like SS or GT, it's not a specific model. I like the new one because it's so crisp and yet kinda swoopy. I miss the really curvy flights of fancy that prevailed in the late 90's to early 2000s, cars now are generally really angular. Not that I dislike that, I think it's a fantastic direction (the Lamborghini Veneno being a particularly fantastic incarnation), but I do really like the smoother lines that they replaced as well.
I've actually done a handful of car design sketches lately, maybe I'll put them up here at some point.

I can't demand that you comprehend the generosity of that fact, but I implore you to consider it if you would please.
1. They are selling their music with sex. It has been done a thousand times to good effect, it is just facile that's all, and so I object. It's a minor point, and really her bandmates are showing just as much skin and ass for that matter, so I concede that I was wrong there.

3. Of course she is not a drummer, she is a girl and girls can't drum. Was that your point? It sure was not mine, mine was that she seems a little ornamental in the band, that's all. 10. This is the deep and meaningful section of the forum. I try to stay out of this end of the pool, but you put up this flashy video up with a super sexy front woman, and I was drawn in like a moth before a flame. Fuck, I mixed up that metaphor. How did I ever become such an illiterate douche-bag? I never got the "no profanity" memo, if it is true that there is no profanity allowed in the deep and meaningful section, than it is not the section for me. I don't think you can rightly accuse me of blasting, as I did not do that.
