I love, love, love deathcore. But I admit, the genre has been taken over by scene kids and terrible musicians. I am sorry in advance if I offend, but I am a highly opinionated individual, so tough noodles .
Waking the Cadavar/Job for a Cowboy/Bring Me the Horizon/Blinding Erika...
Bands like these give deathcore a horrid name. They are terrible, and no one cares that you want to kill your ex girlfriend in some sort of bizarre sexual violence.
Molotov Solution. With Blood Comes Cleansing. War From a Harlots Mouth. Some of Misery Index' stuff (everything else is DM). Bring Me the Horizon after they learned how to use their instruments and before they became crowd pleasers. Some of Elysia's stuff. Manipulated Mutilation. Some of Suffokate. We Are the End if they weren't so White Power.
These bands along with many more, are a credit to the genre. They portray a real meaning, a real sound, and deliver it through gut-wrenching gutturals and shrieking highs, with a thick, heavy sound and intense breakdowns. A breakdown should not just be a mission to sound the heaviest; it should be just that. A breakdown of the theme of the song.
