Death, such an amazing sound. This is my favorite album by them. What are your thoughts? Every song spoke to me and sounded very coherent and united. It was very well done and lives on in my headphones.

Re: Your Lyrics Yeah, I feel you. I like to write about modern issues. And I like the hint, hahaha. Though my vocal type is more for deathmetal/core. I can do punk and hardcore, but never tried progressive.

A band I've sorta started. There are few people in SoCal 661 who are into or know how to play what I want. I was aiming for a multi-genre thing. Like, completely different types of music with the same focus; politics and social issues, with some miscellaneous. I even wrote some love songs . I wanted to do DM, dxc, hardcore, and try my hand at punk. Wouldn't that make for an interesting album? Music for the all around music lover. Haha. The band was going to be called PANDOX, but I changed it to Akuji because I like the meaning of the word more than PANDOX and it's more symmetrical in drawing. PANDOX is a sorta acronym for pandemonium paradox, and Akuji means "dead and awake".

Re: Claim Your FREE Metal Forum T-Shirt! I love metal for the sole reason I love all of the music I love; lyrics. I can listen to anything provided the lyrics and meaning are good. Metal is another bonus. The sound pumps me up, gets me excited, like adrenaline. Then most of it have deep, good, meaningful lyrics. Specifics that I love are guttural, harsh vocals, fast double bass pedal, slow and heavy palm mutes, and that feeling of "did my balls drop?".
