1. There are a lot of songs I can't listen to because they bring back awful past memories, so some of my choices might be a bit "off" because of that. Pantera - Cemetary Gates ( see above ^ ) Halford - Silent Screams ( The entire atmosphere and sound of that song is just really sad to me, but I appreciate it because of that. ) Metallica - Fade to Black Iron Maiden - Brave New World ( Pretty much for the same reason as Silent Screams, it just has a really sad sound to it. ) Nightwish - The Islander I will probably definitely update this list, these are the only songs I could pull off the top of my head. It should look a bit more meaningful once I put some deep thought into it though!

2. I actually don't have a blending tool, because I use a program called MyPaint. It sacrifices such things as fill tools, blending options, shapes, etc. in exchange for an unlimited canvas size and plethora of brushes. Heh. This is also probably completely missing the point, but I like her left boot. Annnnd more stuff.

3. i was too :( poor clive' date=' how did you find out? :) my mate Dom told me.[/quote'] I woke up, got online, went to all the sites I check on a daily basis, and that just so happened to be the first thing I found. (A friend of mine posted it on Facebook.) It was not the best way to start the day. xD
4. I heard about this yesterday and was legitimately shocked, since he was indeed so young. His drumming abilities were absolutely incredible. I loved Maiden's earlier work mainly because of the bass and drums. Rest in Peace, Clive.

5. Here are some of my recent drawings (except for the last one, which I drew a few months ago). I recently started taking art commissions, so I will probably have some more stuff to post later as well. I'll also go try to dig up some of my demon drawings since... yeah. Metal goes hand in hand with demons. c:

6. I have to admit that I personally can't stand metalcore and deathcore and all of those other "core" metal genres. And since I am human, I also can't help judging and disliking people who listen to and enjoy those genres. However, I used to have a really good friend who was a huge fan of deathcore, And I currently have a really good friend who is a fan of nu-metal. (I also have two family members who like metalcore as well.) Even though I hate it, I always end up knowing people who like it. :L I try not to let my first impressions get the better of me since metalcore fans usually end up being good people. Plus, all four of the people I mentioned listen to non-core metal too, so I can't complain.

7. Welcome, my fellow heavy metal female! I hope you have a wonderful time at this rockin' forum. Throw up your horns and prepare for an onslaught of awesome. If you ever need any help, feel free to ask me or just about any another member here for assistance. We're all nice people. c:

8. I like the album "Untouchables" by Korn. Generally I hate Nu Metal and everything related to it, and I am not a big fan of Korn in general, but I kinda sorta love that album. I'm not even sure why I enjoy so much, but I do. Also I am a ridiculously huge fan of glam/hair metal. This probably isn't controversial to most, but I know some metalheads can't stand glam. And I absolutely adore it. Bahaha.

9. I remember a looong time ago when there was a WoW commercial that had Ozzy Osbourne in it. I have never played WoW and I have no intention to play it, but I thought that commercial was the greatest thing ever. Gotta love the prince of darkness.

10. Nice thread. He is a good photographer and that is a pretty legendary portfolio he has there!
Indeed! There's a good amount of metal photographers on dA, but it's hard to find decent ones that have "consistent" material. (A lot of photographers will photograph concerts in general, not just metal ones. And the ones that do photograph only metal concerts will sometimes focus on a certain genre, or only newer or older material.) Thanks for changing the links into images for me, by the way. I was going to change 'em when I got home from school but you saved me the trouble. ^^
11. the-ChooK is a DeviantART user that I have watched for a few years now. They do a lot of professional-quality photography of live metal concerts, and have a wide range of bands that they photograph. Their gallery is full of all sorts of awesome stuff, but for now I will post a few of my personal favorites. Accept: Apocalyptica: Sabaton: Slayer: Judas Priest: (As an additional disclaimer, keep in mind that all of these photos were taken and edited by the-ChooK. I do NOT own these photos.)
12. Indeed, though I am somewhat iffy about newer generations of Pokemon. I will admit that the next generation looks promising so far, though. I am absolutely loving the look of the horned deer-like legendary. <3

13. I started playing a ton of games since I last posted in this thread. xD Recently I've been playing a lot of League of Legends, Borderlands 2, Natural Selection 2, and Guild Wars 2. I also got a Wii U for Christmas, but I have only used it to play Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Bahaha.

14. I just recently started listening to more Hammerfall, namely the No Sacrifice No Victory album. Needless to say, I have been listening to Legion nonstop for the past several weeks. Just about every single song in that album managed to stay in my head, but Legion is just... amazing. It is Energetic, exciting, and awesome. Perfect.

15. Re: Desert Island Game I would like to agree with Iceni, a desert does not have to be hot/sandy. Although most people do associate deserts with blazing heat and whatnot, they do not HAVE to be hot, so the term 'desert' could have many different meanings. Since a hot or cold desert was never specified, I assume you can probably chose the type of desert island you want to be stuck on. (Unless, of course, Murph meant a desertED island, in which this entire argument would be pointless.) ANYWAYS. I want to be trapped on a hot desert island, with my laptop, drawing tablet, and iPod.
