I was curious what everyone thought of Rogga Johansson’s projects? I have been listening to ‘Ribspreader’ for a few months and I really like them. He has a lot of other bands like “Paganizer,” “Eye of Purgatory,” “Revolting,” “War Magic,” “ Leper Colony,” solo albums and many more. Some of his stuff sounds a little re-washed but he keeps it Death Metal with melodic aspects mixed in with different projects. I really like his vocals and the guitar work keeps me interested. I’ve never heard this album. It’s good, reminds me of “Portrait of an American Family” and Smells Like Children. Love those 2 albums. AntiChrist too, but that was when they peaked I thought. Didn’t care for much after that. My Metal friends back in high school hated Manson and gave me a lot of shit but that didn’t stop me. They sounded way different on this album than their previous stuff. But never thought they captured that vibe again. This is my 7 year olds favorite Manson song. Lol “Holy Wood” has some good stuff too. Forgot about that one

I just found these guys today. I kinda like it so far. I wanna listen to their demo “Encased in Ice” Their new album has a lot of hype.

Frozen Soul-Glacial Domination comes out May 19th. Their first album “Crypt of Ice” (2021) didn’t impress me that much at first but it grew on me after a few listens. I feel the same away about this single off their new record. After a few listens I thought it was not bad. They have some catchy guitar riffs and I like the tempo changes.

Sounds good. They definitely polished it up. Sounds a bit more death/thrash than the BM sound of the original. Reminds more of their sound off of “Beneath the Remains” or “Arise.” A tad heavier maybe. (Original)
