I love ZZ Top too, but like most bands their earlier stuff was the best. I think they've kept going this long mostly so they could continue to make videos like that one you posted with hot young women. Dusty's gone now and Billy is 72 so I'm not sure how many more albums will be coming if any. They played a fairly unique brand of southern blues rock, pretty basic at its core, but Billy did so much more with it. I really can't think of any other bands I'd consider similar. Also can't imagine mostly just listening to any one band's songs for an entire year.

Think your best bet is to dig into the deathcore scene. Not my particular forte, so I don't have any bands to recommend, but you can find a lot of bands in that genre that like to use chugging in their songs
