Static-X
The album Wisonsin Death Trip is fantastic. Bled for Days is a masterpeice. Highly reccomend. -
10,000 Days is one of my favorite albums ever, and probably my favorite Tool album, or AEnima. I love the whole album, every damn song i love to bits, even Viginti Tres and Lipan Conjuring. My favorites are Vicarious, Right in Two, and...
ROSETTA STONED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This song!!!!! It's just so amazing!!!!!!!
It has probably the most dramatic buildup of all of Tool's music. Even though it's over 11 minutes, it feels like one, because I'm just so immersed by it. It's not just a song, it's an experience. The lyrics are fantastic, the DRUMS, OH MY GOD, the bass, the AMAZING section at 8:37...
If you haven't heard this song, go listen to it right now - and the prelude, Lost Keys (Blame Hoffman). One is not complete without the other.
Anyways, I apologize for ranting. But I need to share how much I love this song.

No one makes me look bad except for myself.
And anyone who has listened to heavy music in the last 30 years and doesn't know Rob is gay is not worth knowing in the first place.

I can agree, Book Of Souls slaps, but Senjutsu has a different feel to the rest. Some may not like this new feel, but some love it.

Tornado of Souls, easily. Victory and She-Wolf are great too.

5: Hooker With A Penis - 1:30
SO MUCH ENERGY! There is so much energy in this song.
4: Ticks and Leeches - 1:09
The first scream of the song is the best. It's so raw, and harsh, and... damn, I love it!
3: The Grudge - 6:59
This one is obviously iconic, but not the best. But still, the talent...
2: Eulogy - 7:57
This one gets me every damn time. It's just incredible.
1: Bottom - 5:52
There really isn't any other option for this one. I cry when I hear this sometimes.

This is the Mars Volta's debut album in 2003. This is a pretty solid album all the way through. Inertactic Esp is insane, and Roulette Dares is one of my all time favourite songs. Drunkenship of Lanterns also vibes. But, it's so chaotic, it's sometimes a bit hard to listen to. Of course, that's their style, but it's a bit insane. Props for the cool packaging, though!
Also, the deep theme of the concept album is pretty cool as well. It's about their friend and past band member who committed suicide.

I have a Fender Squier P-Bass I got from my dad. I have a very low-budget practice amp and a big amp that I have never used, ever. I am saving up for a B1X FOUR Zoom effect pedal.
So in conclusion, I have terrible gear lol.

PTH is a Canadian progressive metalcore band. This is their second album, released in 2008, Fortress, which many consider their magnum opus. It's fantastic. With amazing vocals, which alternate between screaming and clean perfectly, and amazing instrumentation, it will thrash your head off.
Bloodmeat, the fantastic opener, basically shows you what the whole dang album is. It's so damn fast, with a rhythm change every goddamn bar (not actually, but almost), and fantastic vocals, albeit slightly cheesy lyrics.
I'm not going to go through every song, just the highlights. Sequoia Throne is also fantastic, and Bone Marrow, Palms Read, and The Dissentience are also bangers.
My only criticism is the extremely fast pace, for THE WHOLE ALBUM. Not one slow song. Which makes it something that you wouldn't listen to while doing schoolwork, for example, because it demands so much attention.

One that comes to the top of my head is Holy Mountains by SOAD. The emotion in that song gets me every time.
Sober by Tool as well. The incredible vocals, the cool riffs, it's just such an incredible song.
